Bad smell in the entrance hall

I recently stayed here with my mother, and our experience was fantastic. The ambience was lovely, the rooms and washrooms were spotless, and the buffet breakfast, even though they could add some more items, i would say it was delicious, especially the tehari. We enjoyed a stunning view from the rooftop pool, and the housekeepers were incredibly polite and helpful. The only minor downside was that our room didn't have much of a view, it faced the side of another hotel. Despite this, the beach was just a few minute's walk away, and there were plenty of restaurants nearby. Tuktuks were always available right outside the hotel, making it easy to get around. While the corridor to the room seemed a bit gloomy to me, everything inside the room was perfect. We had three sets of towels each, and hot and cold water ran 24/7 without any issues. The TV offered Netflix (you'll need your own account). Overall, Hotel Windy Terrace was an excellent choice for our trip, and I highly recommend it.

Everything including location was great meal in the restaurant breakfast and very polite staff. Nice tv set with YouTube and comfort music area of the swimming pool and sauna. Entrance hall with many sofas was cost and very comfortable for newcoming guests and departuring visitors.

Almost all windows face alls.... good ones you need yo pay additional 700 taka. Reception desk took by mistake additional charge from my card and I had to wait for 2 days for reimbursement of my money. I paid cash but some somehow someone decided yo take more money .... 💰 😅 Cleaning service also had to waitba big for crewchange but its OK compared to nice atmosphere and overall pluses of this nice hotel

Windy Terrace came highly recommended by a friend who had stayed there a few years ago. And the hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. Located in the heart of the Cox Bazar corporate region (right opposite Ocean's Paradise), Windy Terrace may be described as an oasis of comfort, security, and peace of mind. The hotel is just off the main street so it is quite peaceful. The rooms are well equipped with all the modern amenities that you can expect in a good hotel. The food is exquisite, much better than some of the nearby hotels and I would highly recommend it. However, what makes Windy Terrace special are its staff- each and every single person from room service, to the restaurant staff, to the security personnel to reception- every single person seems genuinely dedicated to making their guest's stay pleasant without any expectation. I stayed there for a little more than a week and the service or the warmth never waivered once. This is very symbolic of Cox's Bazar in general where people are genuinely warm and friendly towards guests. I would especially recommend Windy Terrace to solo travellers as well as families.

Windy Terrace is undergoing massive expansion at the moment so some of the services like Spa etc are not open yet. But once they are up and running the place will be even more special

I stayed for a week at Windy Terrace, and the service was beyond my expectations! First of all, though my room was not spacious, it was very clean and comfortable for one person! The staff was so kind and helpful. Breakfast was tasty, and there were a lot of options to eat (mostly Bengal food, though). Plus it was pretty happy to find that the facility has chosen Japanese appliances (air-conditioning, phone, TV etc). I will recommend Windy Terrace to my friends if they ask me for accommodation in CXB. I never imagined receiving such a service at an affordable price!

The facilities were a bit squeeze but almost perfect! However, I stayed during the tourist season, so many people stayed at the hotel (Sometimes struggled with noise, waiting for the lift, and the restaurant was full of people). This may be minor, especially if you plan to travel during the off-season.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel a lot. The modern part of the hotel is the highest in the vicinity and the rooftop (14th floor) infinity pool is a true highlight. My room was sufficiently large with nice and modern furniture. The breakfast buffet was tasty and comprehensive.

It's a bit far from the beach, though the latter is still quite easy to reach with the help of a tuktuk or just by walking. At first they gave me a room with a connecting door to the neighboring room. The door was locked, of course, but that offered very little privacy and I could hear the TV and talks in the neighboring room almost as if they had happened in mine. And somehow my neighbors decided to get up at 5 am so sleep was over for me at that time. I complained about that and they agreed to give me a different room, though they could only do it from day 3. At least the neighboring room seems to have been empty during my second night, so that was okay. Still, if they offer you such a room with a connecting door, you should ask for a different one immediately.

We have to checkout early to catch ship to Saint Martin. The hotel staff helped us to do so and also help to manage vehicle before dawn and also they packed the take away food.
