Nice room, rather old furniture, but in good condition. Good breakfast, even if you come near the end, you have a variety of options, personeel make a refill. Good location, not far away from beach, but near the station. Good system of leaving belongings before check-in or after check-out, you can get them even if personel aready gone. Cozy lounge zone, during the day you can order some drinks there (and during evenings in some dates, haven't understand that moment). You can also order a dinner here, we haven't use that option, but it is rather useful

In that hotel there are different buildings, pay attention to that, maybe ask the hotel! We were putted to another adress, not far away, but we haven't known that in advance Bar is usually not working in evening No teapot in the room, not enough heating, it was rather cold in June

Owner/Managers are charming & easy to deal with through Booking.com messaging - reserving on-site parking & check in times. The top-floor room was super-generous in size and clearly recently & nicely refurbished. The breakfast buffet is a feast - everything was freshly baked/prepared and delicious.

These are not dislikes. The location is on a busy road so if you are a light sleeper it may bother you - it didn't bother us, we fell straight asleep in the very comfortable beds. It's around a 1km walk from the sea-front but this is a flat, easy stroll through a park, plaza and a shopping area.

The location is good. Everything we wanted is on the same street (Kerkstraat), all the way to the beach. The staff was very helpful and understanding. Thank you. Very clean facility. Very family friendly and welcoming. It even has a children playground across the backstreet.

Sound insulation could be improved in the doors and in the rooms at the street side. Curtains don’t block out the sunlight. Blackout curtains would be helpful. Breakfast was basic compared to our experiences elsewhere. It could benefit from more variety.

Sabot D'Or is ideally located just a short walk from the train station, making it incredibly convenient for exploring nearby towns. The beach and shopping center are also within walking distance, adding to the ease of access. Breakfast was not only delicious but also accompanied by excellent service, and the staff were consistently friendly and welcoming. The water temperature in the shower was well-adjusted, ensuring a comfortable experience at any time. Additionally, the room’s heating and Internet service were both reliable and efficient.

The rooms we stayed in were located next to a busy main street, and while the curtains provided sufficient privacy, I would have preferred shutters for better light control, especially when the sun shines through. The room itself could have been more spacious, though this wouldn't be an issue if you're spending most of your time outside.

A 2* rating underestimates this hotel. Privately owned and managed - it shows. Friendly helpful staff which adequate English spoken. Interior design of public areas exceptional. Our room generous and comfortable. Hotel spotlessly clean. Good buffet breakfast. Location in city excellent - very close to station, tram, and city centre. Also hotel had private parking.

No choice dinner menu - a simple choice on a preselection basis would have been welcome.

The room was nice and we had a little balcony. You can also book a garage for 18€ a day, wich is a great option if you don't like the parking by the road or expensive parkhouse. The location is great. It was very calm at night and you are in the city center in a 4 min walk. Staff was friendly and helpfull.

Nothing really. Just note that you should bring shampoo and soap. Maybe the hotel could make a small improvement by offering small soaps for the stay.

Good location, next to the station and very close to center/beach. Bathroom new and clean, room relatively spacious. we were in a separate building from the reception/breakfast, but it was just a few houses down.

It's the second time I stay in this accommodation. Good to rest and close to the beach. Calm area. Shops near. Always clean. Fresh linen

Since Covid, No longer has free parking on the streets behind the accommodation so it has to pay. Very low pillows and mattress was not very comfortable.

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and the hotel has nice facilities for breakfast and dinner, along with a lounge. Their location is very good to get to Brugge quickly if one wants to explore more than Blankenberge.

It would have been nice to have a kettle in the room to have tea and or coffee, and some more pillows for the bed, and perhaps a tiny fridge, but all in all the stay was grand.

Staff were very friendly. The room was very spacious and clean. The building was very modern and the interior was well decorated. Located just 5 minute walk from the main town and a two minute walk if travelling by train.
