Location is excellent - in the centre of town right next to the river. Staff are numerous, very professional and highly attentive. Breakfast was excellent and good value for money. The hotel is old but downstairs areas are fantastically interesting and beautifully kept in keeping with the age of the hotel. Comfortable beds but rooms/bathrooms very basic.

Rooms and bathrooms need updating and a little tlc - overpriced for what you get. I think 17 € for parking overnight as a guest was also overpriced. But having a garage is required as the roads are pretty well parked up.

Staff and service were wonderful; location within Bouillon perfect; restaurant excellent, with proper local food, well prepared.

The hotel and staff deserve a ten, and I feel I am being a bit churlish by marking them down a point. The only problem with the place is that it is just very brown with red carpets. And I quite like brown ! The floors and some of the walls are original early 19th century brown and cream marble and deserve to be preserved,, but they have gone totally patchy patchy, bar the carpets....and the overall effect is...depressing.

Very spacious room with desk and easy chairs, and a very comfortable bed. A central location and the view over the river was lovely. We were able to park right outside for our whole stay, but there is plenty of street parking nearby and also a hotel car park for an additional fee. Buffet breakfast and evening meal were both excellent. Friendly and helpful staff. Hotel has a traditional feel and is a very relaxing place to stay.

The shower over the bath was awkward for older people to get into and the shower screen didn't prevent water from getting on the floor - a simple stand-alone shower instead of a bath would be a big improvement.

The hotel is in the town Bouillon which is a lovely small town in a fantastic part of the country, with lots to do and see, good selection of restaurants and shops, Hotel is right in the centre of the town , it’s a very old building lots of creaky floors and stuff, staff where friendly and welcoming, room was very small and basic , rooms look like there getting old and things are getting worn, if you pay for a river view the rooms are bigger and slightly better, mine was on the back very small basic looks out on to another building, bathroom was small and basic, rooms where clean ish, breakfast was lots of choices of foods and very tasty and nice views over looking the river, under ground parking with lift to reception, i use this hotel as a pass through stop every year for one or two nights

Watch out for all the extras, breakfast, car-parking are not included in price, think you pay for the location , personal I think it’s a bit much for what you get,

- Hotel employees are friendly and many speak at least French and Dutch. - The hotel is very centrally located. - Parking in the vicinity is free. There are warning signs of limited parking time, but these have been overruled by a federal judge to make Bouillon more attractive to tourists. - Rooms with combined shower and bath and basic bathing amenities. - Minibar comes with two free bottles of water and a packet of peanuts. - Reasonably priced rooms. - Comfortable bed (medium hardness). - Good breakfast buffet (20 euro per person). - Elevator (but very small, max two persons).

- There's little sound proofing in the room, the floors are very creaky and if you have a room without view there's lots of traffic noise during the evening. - The rooms are hot, even in February, and there's no airco. - Very early in the morning there was hardly any warm water.

What a beautiful old building full of character! It is in a perfect location, with views straight on to the river and castle. From the moment we arrived the staff were friendly and very helpful. There is secure parking in an underground car park with a lift direct to all floors. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated and with lovely views. The well appointed bathroom included a bath. The bar and dining room are stylishly decorated and with gorgeous large flower arrangements - it all creates a very luxurious environment. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide range of fresh items.

We English do love a kettle in the room so one would have been very welcome however, the packet of crisps and bottles of water were great.

De la Poste offers everything I like from a classic hotel. The type you may have seen in the past. Traditional quality with carpet on the stairs, squeaky wooden floor, a location spot on in the middle of the town, views over the Semois and on the castle. Bouillon is a touristic village with plenty of restaurants, something good in the Ardennes

I was not in the possibility to test the in-house restaurant. The menu looks brilliant!

What not to like? Hotel is wonderful, great location, rooms comfy and had everything required for our stay. Seating outside hotel for drinks and lovely restaurant outside by river if dont want to eat inside - food very good here. We went out for breakfast - lots of places to eat and drink nearby. Private underground garage for parking also.

Old-fashioned hill resort directly at the river banks. Very quiet. Acceptable choice of foreign language TV-channels. Good restaurant for dinner. Very nice breakfast in a nice ambiance.

No short-term parking (signposted) for check in. Rooms show wear and tear. Bar was closed. No lounge to meet before dinner. Dinner booking could not be found, but seating was possible due to low hotel occupancy.

Great location in Boullion, We had a riverside room with great views of the river and the fort. Secure parking garage (extra charge) which was great for our motorbike and the staff were friendly and attentive. Breakfast was fairly good and we had our evening meal in the restaurant down the side of the hotel on the riverside.
