Mansarde was nicely located in the city center of Diest and easy to find. We were welcomed friendly and the host even offered to put as many of our bidons in the refrigerator as possible (as we were on a kickbike 🛴 from the Netherlands to Paris we carried five each). The room was very clean and comfortable. It felt a little as a sleepover at your grandma's house, this is was both a big plus as well as slightly awkward at times. We could park our kickbikes safely in the host's garage. Breakfast was nice and varied.

What we missed our couldn't find were a body wash and shampoo product in the bathroom.

Everything as expected =) good breakfast and beautiful house. Despite sharing the house with the owner we were left very comfortable. Recommended.

It's inside somebody's appartment, and the owner smokes inside. It smells everywhere

we were not granted to our rented room, on one bothered to open door, none from 6 phone calls was picked up, no information how to enter the building was provided, we had to go to other town for a night sleep, all of this in the middle of the night after 13hrs of driving... payment in advance required by host and it is not refundable
