The room was brilliant, plenty of space and the little separation between lounge and bedroom was a real key feature and nicely broke up the areas. Bathroom was really good but could do with a little update, but nothing major.

There should be basic cleaning products to be supplied with the room such as a sponge and washing up liquid. Another key item would be larger glasses to drink from as the ones supplied are a mouthful. All nothing too major but would add to the room being more suitable.

We stayed at Le Manoir du Capitaine for two nights as it is close to the museum sites of Waterloo. On arrival, we were warmly greeted, and we were given information about our room and breakfast. The room was wonderful. It had a sitting room/kitchen diner downstairs and our bedroom and bathroom on the mezzanine. Everything was spotless, and we had everything we could need. The hotel was in a quiet location but there was a lovely restaurant within walking distance. The breakfast was superb. There was lots of choice and everything was fresh. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful.

Beautiful location, apartment was spacious and well maintained. Really easy to get to. Throughly enjoyed our stay.

Could have done with a bit of information guide in the rooms with things like recycling etc. Also, a knife in the kitchen for chopping would have been useful if you are cooking.

Quirky place with a lot of character. Spacious mezanine bedroom with kitchenette and comfortable sitting area downstairs. Lovely setting in beautiful village, Feluy. 5 min walk to the centre. Friendly and helpful receptionist.

A few coffee and tea satchets would be nice. It was not very clean.

The place was extremely grand and well maintained. I was not expecting the size and comfort of the apartment (downstairs living space with kitchen and upstairs mezzanine bedroom and bathroom) for the money that we paid.

I liked the the location of the hotel, which was perfect for my needs, the size of the room (duplex) which allowed me to work peacefully and comfortably, and the easy access and friendly, helpful staff (including the manager/owner).

Lovely hotel/apartment, was sorry not to stay longer and explore more! Nice walk into pretty town, would need a car to explore further Loved the two storey rooms and the gorgeous breakfast room with helpful friendly staff - well stocked continental variety Thank you for the great communication and very pleasant stay :) Will definitely be back!!

nothing to not like

The gentleman at reception kindly found us a ground floor apartment as we are travelling for 3 months and have several bags. He also had numerous suggestions about local places to visit all of which we enjoyed.

We noticed some shortcomings. 1. The garden lacked landscaping, such as landscaped paths, beautiful benches and lanterns for relaxing while walking in the garden. 2. We also missed a modern coffee machine in the kitchen.

Great location, friendly, good rooms and breakfast was also excellent. Duplex room with great bathroom and kitchen. Interesting conversation with manager about other hikers following the camino to Spain who also stop there. Plan to stay again.

Nothing really, since it was very hot weather, airco would have been nice.
