Gerda is a very good host. I had requested her for accommodating an early check-in and a late check-out, and she was gracious to accept my request. She also gave me a lovely tour of the property, and a brief about the neighborhood. I needed airport cab and it was a bit late, but yet she managed to get me a cab at decent rate. Her pleasing personality and kind nature puts one at ease. The property has some ancient relics and it adds to the very homely vibe of the place. And not to forget the little cosy garden, I was fortunate to see all the flowers in bloom. The wisteria blooms added a very interesting look to the place.

The house was beautiful, the hosts were superb and made sure we were comfortable. We had to leave earlier in the morning, and the hosts were kind enough to serve the breakfast slightly earlier, which was a great help. The bar was in a beautiful building and was stocked with a great choice of excellent beer. There was nothing there to not like. It was an excellent place to stay, and we will definitely be back. ,

Perfect place, all recomandations for next guests! Car/moto parking is totally safe! (thiefs would have to first -find- this place, then do the business under cameras...) VERY perfect is that Herne willage has train station, 30 mins to Bruxelles central! Surroundings beaaautifuuul. There were 2 hens and 2 goats during my stay at their place next to the party garden, i love the willage mood of acomodation, like i love it at my home willage, perfect... Owners: monsieur & madame are very very kind, speaking dutch, elnglish, francais and maybe more... They have self propelled bar with beers - perfect after tired returning from Bruxelles... There is also fridge and wash mashine, perfect place for vacation. And anyway, the place is... spacy. My room was tiny (lowest price) but in common areas, there is plenty of place, as it is usual at willage house-barns and thats perfect along with the garden and animals place...

For me, the price is of course high, but comparing to other close by accomodations it is absolutely OK.

We used this as a overnight place between two city trips, Brussels and Bruges. The place was very comfy and we enjoyed a lot. We travelled with a group of 2 adults and 3 children and had a great room that fitted us all. There is a place outside with terraces, you can also have a drink inside. We forgot a bracelet and the staff kept it for us to pick it up two weeks later when we were in the area again. Thank you for that!

A beautiful place to stay. The owners were so welcoming and helpful. The room was spacious and clean with comfortable beds and a living area. Stunning gardens, adequate parking, and amazing breakfast. We'd love to come back.

The property is a unique hidden gem in the middle of Herne, perfectly accessible for the important locations of the area. The estate is peaceful and abundantly filled with beautiful and well maintained botanic garden. The owners are lovely people; kind and open and a pleasure to share a conversation with them.

beautiful B and B with friendly hosts. gardens are beautiful to enjoy a drink from the bar. Breakfast was fantastic with great selection of food.

We wish we could have stayed for longer.

The B&B was lovely, the room was great and the garden area was amazing. There were a wide selection of drinks that you could buy and the breakfast was lovely. The hosts were really friendly and went out of their way to help us. There was a safe place to store our bicycles too.
