Loved my comfort double room, the olive & white decor & having a wall of windows with balcony access overlooking tranquil views of garden & countryside. Must be stunning in bloom. Had best night's sleep in ages: 100% linen, comfy bed & pillow with atmospheric lighting. Great sound proofing & really appreciated having the lift. Also, constant hot water, full shower pressure & fast acting radiators. A very cosy experience during a very wet&windy Christmas. The staff were friendly and the Christmas day gift was a very kind gesture. A very classy Christmas vibe throughout the hotel inside and out-has an amazing inner courtyard. The breakfast buffet was substantial hot & cold & I enjoyed the best crispy bacon ever and the scrambled eggs were perfect for these British taste buds.

Scalding hot water but on the plus side it never ran out & it rinsed coffee cups in an instant. Bit old school not having a USB charging point & having to pack an adapter plug but there's free WiFi. I know it's a cultural thing but as a Brit I really expect a kettle as standard not as a luxury. It would have been less stressful had I known sooner rather than on arrival day that check in was upto 20:00.

The room and bathroom are spacious. The room is quite simple but nicely decorated. The bed was good. There is a kettle in the room. Parking is not directly at the hotel but there is ample public parking space just across the street.

The bathroom shows signs of age (many broken tiles, teared silicone, other broken details) and is actually in need of renovation, though still fully functional. Restaurant was closed the day we stayed there. 20 euros per person for breakfast is too much.

We had booked the apartment instead of normal rooms because we were with friends, and it was fantastic! Every couple a room but then a common area to spend some time together in the evenings and play games. The hotel itself is BEAUTIFUL, almost from a postcard. The front with the beautiful wisterias in bloom, the back with the restaurant area full of glass with views to a beautiful garden. Spectacular.

The staff was very strict with the check in time. I understand and respect that, but people literally walked by and ignored me instead of saying that I had to wait or something. Kindness was not their strongest suit.

Beautiful building. Nice location. Friendly staff. I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Brull. I would look forward to coming back another day

The cycle shed needs some upgrades. Not suitable for modern carbon fiber road bicycles. This material is strong but somewhat brittle and must not be damaged.

The rooms are simple (single bed) but clean. Dogs are welcome. The dining room is spacious and well presented. The village is very pretty and enjoyable for a walk with a number of choices of food & drink venues. This is a perfect base to walk, run or hike the Dutch Mountains, a beautiful location.

Terrace, garden and interiors

Breakfast: probably due to staff shortage was hard to get replenishment. Not good value for money. The app: nice idea but made me reserve the hotel restaurant giving confirmation but was not available.

The Village of Mechelen was very picturesque. I loved the setting and its character.

The bed was perhaps a little hard. My back ached after a nights sleep. Perhaps a better quality mattress is required.

The hotel was great. Traditional, clean, spacious rooms and friendly service. Hearing worked fine and bed was comfortable. They were flexible with the check in and they have parking in the hotel premises.

we had a very nice and spacious room. The hotel itself a a beautiful old building typical for the area. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

parking is a bit limited, but we parked across the street. Charging your EV is a bit difficult (not just plug and charge)

Very nice staff, they really want you to feel good. I spend every weekend there because of work. I really like going back there.
