You want old world French experience on a budget ,go here. Staff exceptional and very accommodating! Food is 3 star level. Best Croquettes ever!! Variety of local beers from the region.

Weather. This is a small family business and when shirt of staff and hosting a large dinner event, they are stretched and service drops from their usual high class attendance!

Location is way off the beaten path, GPS had some issues finding it. It is in the Ardennes Mountains, which boarder France and Belgium. Very small town, where French is pretty much spoken. And little buit Flemish. Breakfast was superb. The owner is also at least 2 star or possible 3 Star chief. Excellent food and very knowledgeable on the local beers from the area.

Little better speed for internet, Maybe sign they do speak limited English. Better parking!

Both Guido and his wife are friendly hosts, making you feel nothing is too much trouble. The auberge has outdoor seating both front and back of the property, offering sun or shade for a quiet drink of beer. Guido is a marvellous chef, I would be the size of a house if I had stayed longer. I was on a motorbike and was offered the use of their garage for overnight parking.

The hotel is lovingly owned by Caroline and Guido who are extremely friendly and helpful hosts. We had a very well appointed room with a fantastic shower in the en-suite. The hotel was a nice size and you were made to feel very welcome. The food was fantastic and their was a good choice for all group members, which was supported by an excellent choice of local beers. The three of us had a great time here and we will return next year for the Gedinne Classic motorcycle racing and to visit places of interest.

No real complaints.

Rooms very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Hosts very welcoming. Evening meal very good Breakfast included , continental style and plenty of it Ideal for overnight stop en route.

Orchimont is a bit remote .
