Good location with free parking in front of the hotel. Room was a good size, clean and comfortable.

On our second morning (Friday 28th March) we came down to breakfast at roughly the same time as the previous day. It was much, much busier (due I believe to a bike race that day) and there was little left of the breakfast buffet and the selection of food left was very limited. There was one bread roll left, 5 or 6 mini pastries, and there was not much left of the cold meats and cheese. I saw scrambled egg being replenished but not much else. This was a shame as the following morning there was a full buffet available when we arrived. I don't know if they were not prepared or had just run out of some items.

My booking was for a studio room with kitchenette and it exceeded my expectations. There was everything I needed in the room, the staff were very approachable, went above and beyond to make sure we were okay. There is a free parking with loads of spaces just outside the hotel and very quiet environment, I will be coming back soon!

The name of the hotel “Leopold”. The atrocities King Leopold committed in Africa can never be forgiven or forgotten, he doesn’t deserve to be remembered.

Spacious room with comfortable bed and large window seat. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Great location a few minutes walk from the town centre. There was plenty of free parking available in the large car park in front of the hotel. Secure bike storage was also available at no extra charge. Hotel staff were pleasant and helpful.

Nothing to dislike. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment on the quality of the food. We booked room only as the price for breakfast seemed quite expensive. We were happy to go to the nearby bakery for a pastry. It did look quite busy in the breakfast area in the mornings but this may have been because there was a cycle event that weekend.

We loved this hotel. It's in the centre of Oudernaarde in a nice setting. It is very nicely decorated throughout. The room was light and airy and had a kettle :) A great hotel for cyclists, with good storage. There was a nice terrace. Check in before going to the Tour of Flanders museum for a discount.

We didn't dine there as there were no gluten free offerings. The breakfast was very expensive so we had to miss out on that too. No problem - it's a lovely town.

We have stayed in this hotel a number of times - as we cycle the fantastic routes around Oudenaarde. The rooms are clean and comfortable - with excellent pillows. The hotel is light and airy with an open-plan area on the ground floor where you can have a meal or just relax with an excellent Belgian beer. The staff are exceptional and go out of their way to ensure that your stay is perfect. A shout out to the very helpful and always smiling, Alicia (or perhaps spelled Aleisha?).

The hotel was excellent, very close to the town centre. The room was bright, airy, and spotlessly clean. It also catered well to cyclists, with secure bike parking available.

Breakfast service could have been better. The dining area isn’t very large, so I sat at a table where someone had previously eaten, but it wasn’t cleared during the 30 minutes I was there. Additionally, the hot food (eggs) were empty when I arrived and weren’t restocked throughout my meal…

The hotel was easy to get to and with a huge and free car park. It was located about 2 minutes walk from the town square which had a few restaurants and some beautiful architecture. The check in was lovely and the room a good size although I always find the warm air heaters a pain to actually warm the room up. The bed was fantastically comfortable, the best sleep I have had for a long time! The room was very quiet too and had a good sized desk and decent wifi.

Breakfast was €22 each which was pricey.

Breakfast was expensive, €23 each. Used kitchenette fridge in room to store breakfast goods from Delhaize supermarket for the next 2 days. Some rooms don’t have enough foot room past the beds for males- had to refuse a room with bed 1 m 90 cm long between 2 walls.- I am 2 m tall. Room 007. very good!

Staff were friendly and helpful. Other than that, everything was fine - clean, comfortable, etc. Location is great for town centre, though as it happened I wasn't really focused on that.

I arrived lateish, maybe 23.00, and was pleased to find the bar open. I wanted to sit outside so I could smoke (disgusting habit but there it is) and read my book - which worked with the outside lighting, until it went out after about ten minutes leaving me in the dark. Apparently it is all controlled by timers and the barman/receptionist couldn't put it back on for me. This won't be an issue for many people, but for the tiny minority who, like me, like to smoke and read over a pint late at night, it was a minor disappointment, so I put this here for them. Otherwise, no complaints!

Excellent breakfast, perhaps one of the best I've ever had in a hotel, with a very wide variety of options: from fresh fruit to pastries, plenty of savory choices, and excellent hot and cold drinks. Great bike storage service, equipped with tools and accessible via key card
