Excellent starting point for hikes in the area, both on foot or drive by car to the starting points. Sufficient free semi-public parking on site. Very good restaurant. Superb breakfast. Very nice place to stay for a few days to explore the area.

Spacious rooms with basic furnishings. Good rooms for staying the night, not a hotel to spend your whole day at. No desk in my room to work at. The freely available wifi is not very stable for VPN & bandwidth is limited. (Although this could go towards the plus side, when you want to get really away from it all.)

We loved the swimming pool, the garden, and the delicious breakfast. The property is picturesque and the perfect base to explore the Ardennes. Our apartment was cosy with a pretty view. Wish it could've been closer to the pool but all the apartments are above the restaurant. There is a lot of parking space but it gets full rather quickly. The crib provided free of charge was wonderful <3.

We always book hotels with playgrounds cos it's easier to keep our 3 year old entertained that way. It was disappointing to see that the playground (although earlier mentioned on the hotel website) was absent. It would be wonderful if it could be rebuilt. The bouncy castle and games by the pool were nice though. And our kid enjoyed playing with the stones in the garden as well. :) The hotel gets noisy in the night with loud groups who drink late into the night. But keeping the windows tightly shut helps. There is no air conditioning.

Location, restaurant, and wonderful breakfast were highlights. We have stayed at this hotel many times over the past 15 years - probably close to once a year - and we love coming back. Lovely people, atmosphere, and accommodation options.

The only negative (and it was only a small negative) was that there is a smell in the bathroom of our apartment from the waste water pipes (probably from the shower.) This is something which I hope will be sorted soon. For the rest, always a pleasure to stay here.

Calmness, stress-free, beautiful landscapes and scenery and overall, a rustic experience. Friendly staff, especially the young woman at reception was able to speak some Spanish. And, yeah, breakfast was interesting, such a wide variety of food to choose from. Merci beaucoup et a la prochaine!

A decent hotel considering how remote the location is. A little rustic but overall a nice experience. Everything worked and was in accordance with expectations. Everyone very friendly and helpful.

The beds were not quite right (one was tilted to the side). Room decor could do with a light touch of modernisation. Coffee at breakfast could use a bit more coffee in the coffee.

This was a stop over hotel for us, staying just two nights. We booked here as it was between areas we wanted to visit and the Tiger Tank was also a short walk away from the hotel to visit, with an excellent museum (14 December). We booked a family room and there was certainly plenty of beds! We had a room with two singles (put as a double) downstairs with a separate toilet/bathroom and kitchenette area (with fridge), there was an upstairs area with a further 4 single beds (two again put together as a single). The room was basic but clean and tidy. The hotel itself is lovely - looks like an old converted barn, with a play area and swimming pool out the back, which we didn't have time to use but it felt heated. We arrived after check-in time, but the restaurant across the road had our key (think they are linked) and were able to seat us for dinner - there are no other options to eat in this town (its very small). Breakfast was lovely - lots to choose from and could sit inside or out on the terrace. Served from 8-10am too so not too early. Overall, a good stay

The stairs to the upstairs were very noisy (just the age of the building) but also not ideal for our little one (being only just 4) and would not have been safe for him should he have woken in the night. We managed though with the hubby upstairs and me sharing with my boy. Beds were soft, especially those upstairs - did give hubby a bad back. Some noise from other guests at night time. Found some of the staff at the adjoining restaurant a little rude (caught one of the male staff mimicking my child when he was upset at having to sit on the terrace in the blazing sun - this apparently being the only table available). It did put us off and so we drove to the nearby town of Coo the following night for dinner, which actually had a lovely plaza with a pizzeria.

exceptional location, very cozy, warm atmosphere and accommodation, wonderful pool, garden, delicious and rich morning buffet, exceptionally friendly and welcoming staff. loved the possibilities of walking/hiking in the direct neighborhood.

Low number of power sockets and of closets. Only possibility of eating was the restaurant across the street with food of mediocre quality and taste.

La Gleize is a wonderful village crammed with wartime history.

The room was a little dated and the pullout bed was broken. It didn’t affect our stay but it could do with a facelift in the room we stayed in.

Beautiful pool area, good and varied breakfast and a nice restaurant. Really loved our apartment but even room had a nice layout. Nice area with a walking distance to another restaurant, small supermarket etc.
