Location is incredible - on the beach, in the middle of Placencia with easy 5-10 minute walk to all of the Placencia restaurants. Two minute walk to Captain Jak's, one of the premier outfitters for snorkeling and other tours. Very attentive friendly staff, plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas so you can always get shade when you want it. Pool is very nice for adults looking to cool off or small children to play in. (This is primarily an adult hangout - only a few kids while we were there)

Our room included a kitchenette and living space with a small sofa. The sofa was uncomfortable and we usually found ourself lying in bed to wind down with Netflix on our iPad because the sofa just wasn't cutting it. Don't expect a nice swimming beach - seaweed is becoming a problem just like so many Caribbean beaches in Cancun.

The staff was so friendly and personable.

The extra charges for booking activities through them wasn't sufficiently communicated. And the information for what we were to do wasn't properly communicated with the provider.

We loved the personal service. It is a smaller boutique hotel where everyone knows your name. You can request anything and they will do their best to satisfy your every wish. The staff is exceptional. The one disappointment was we booked a “beachside” room we thought but we booked a beachside resort. If you would like a room facing the water with a veranda be very specific.

Our room had an u usual shelf at about 65 inches off the floor next to the bed. I am 5’7 and even though my husband and I had discussed it I hit it VERY hard square on my upper forehead our first day. It made for a week long headache. There really seemed no reason for the shelf. I spoke to staff and I hope they take it down to avoid an even more serious injury. The other small issue is the microwave is installed on the upper shelf in the kitchen. We could barely reach it and like I said I am average height.

Shadine and Jacqueline are amazing. The entire staff is so welcoming from the cleaning staff to the driver to the bartender (Justin). They gave us welcome drinks. The driver took our luggage to the room. Jacqueline gave us a tour of the room and explained everything. They are available 24/7 on Watsapp. This made communication very easy, quick, and efficient. The room is huge, clean and has a fridge. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom is huge. The balcony overlooking the pool, bar and beach is breathtaking. It was quiet and serene. We used the free bikes to ride around the city to the other side where we cab get into the beach with no seaweed and went to Wendy's Restaurant. I loved it.

The restaurant on the premise food took over 45 mins before it was brought out. I am not sure why but it was only 2 tables being served and mine was 1 of em.

All staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms and property were very well maintained and clean. Location in relation to the village was perfect, as you could walk right out on the sidewalk and immediately access restaurants and other vendors. There were kayaks, a paddleboat and paddleboards to use that were easily accessible. They also provided bikes for use in riding around the area, although they were a bit run down and probably in need of replacement. The beach area was very clean, with multiple lounging chairs for use. Rooms were very nice, with comfortable beds and pillows, and a few small odds and ends for use in the kitchenette (mugs, glasses, etc).

There was a short period of time (maybe an hour) when there was a private event on the beach and we were asked to leave for that time. This fit OK with our schedule, but we still felt it was in poor taste to prevent paying customers from using the beach due to another customer's request. Also, the beach hammocks and umbrellas were only put out for this private event, not during the rest of our visit.

Clean, quality amenities throughout the property, friendly and accommodating staff. Love having the pool located between the hotel and the ocean with a well appointed bar. Good size room.

One side of the bed was too close to the wall and made it difficult to get in and out of the bed. Would’ve loved to have a small table & 2 chairs on the balcony in addition to the bench.

This place is probably the best place to stay in Placencia. Beachfront, contemporary, good size pool, only 12 rooms, I believe. Even fully booked you do not have the feeling of the place being overcrowded. ... staff went out of their way to make us feel happy and relaxed.... everything was perfect.

The property is perfectly located in the heart of Placencia. The room we had was large and very clean. The staff left us personalized hand written letters and we loved them. The entire staff was attentive and kind. The beach on the property is beautiful and well kept.

It is a great little hotel at the central spot in Placencia. Easy access to the Cayes, with many scuba and snorkeling trips available in the town. The barrier reef is beyond belief if you do scuba.

We went in August, in the rainy season, and there were quite a bit of mosquitoes early in the morning. During the day it was fine. No mosquitoes at the beach or the restaurant. Only inland, and only very early in the day.

Great location right in the heart of the village. Beautiful pool and beach. Rooms were large and well appointed. Staff was phenomenal! Vanessa is an absolute gem and made our days at the pool perfect! Jacqueline went above and beyond to ensure everything from transportation to Easter egg hunts were taken care of.
