We loved everything! We didn’t want to leave and wish we could have stayed longer. We didn’t actually like the beaches in Arraial do Cabo and Buzios. The towns are overrated and the beaches were crowded and dirty. But going back to our hotel beach - Caravelas - always made us happy. We then decided not to leave the hotel anymore. It had everything we needed, a wonderful beach, peaceful, clean, our paradise! We loved our room, it was modern, and yet rustic and cozy, the bed was comfy, and I loved my towel warmer. The staff was so friendly and had great food and wine recommendations… The hotel also had a great swimming pool area, sauna, massages, not to say yoga and meditation; which I wish I had enjoyed more - and the highlight for us: the restaurant! We are foodies and had every meal at the hotel restaurant so we could try every item on the menu! Spectacular, one of the best hotel restaurants I’ve ever been to. For future guests: try the hot rolls with watermelon, the arancini and the kafta. And the lemongrass tea! Divine.

Although it might seem to be part of the charm, we didn’t understand how a hotel that is so well built, designed and kept can’t do something to make the road there just a little bit better. It’s pretty bumpy, I hope next time we visit they are able to fix those roads.

This is a fairly new hotel, with good facilities including a yoga room, sauna, pool, jacuzzi and it’s right on Caravelas Beach. The rooms are fairly spacious as is the bathroom. There is also free parking right in front of the hotel, for those driving their own vehicles.

The orientations from the staff was contradictory at times, depending on who you talk to. Before arrival I inquired if there was anywhere I could get a bit of work done prior to checkin, as I was arriving before checkin time and I was told that I could work from anywhere I’d like. Upon arrival, the story changed and it was suggested that I worked from a bench, right in front of the reception , which obviously wouldn’t work. There were a few others like this along my stay but nothing that took away from the overall experience. Lastly, the hotel’s restaurant is strictly vegetarian with a relatively small menu, hence factor this in before you book.

The hotel is beautiful, with impeccable, modern and comfortable facilities. The bedroom, bathroom and balcony were spacious and beautifully decorated. They included a large smart TV, minibar, heated towel rail and comfortable bed and pillows. The view from room 20 was fantastic! The restaurant in the pool area had a well-prepared and cooked menu, all vegetarian and delicious. Breakfast was a highlight every day! We spent our days sunbathing between the pool and the beach, which is a 1-minute walk away. The hotel offered free activities following the spiritual and ecological theme, so every day we went on guided trails in the forest/beach, did yoga and meditation. We loved having a daily schedule, so we didn't need to plan much and were able to make the most of this amazing hotel. That said, it's much more than a hotel, it's a relaxing and meaningful experience that we highly recommend.

This property is a jewel, the hotel is inside a natural park, away from the city and main roads, you are really inside of nature, with an amazing sea view. The hotel is beautifully decorated and the atmosphere is absolutely magical. The people are amazing, kind and helpful. The cuisine from The restaurant is very tasty and vegetarian. The breakfast is delicious, and you can see everything is prepared with love and care.

I liked everything, we stayed for 8 days initially but decided to extend our stay, it was difficult to leave such an amazing location.

The most deserved 10-point-review ever! From the moment you arrive, you delve into the purely good vibes, positive energy and thourougly comfortable environment at Hotel Espiritualidade. We didn't really know what to expect, but the beautiful, clean & comfy rooms, delicious vegetarian gourmet food, consistenly happy & helpful staff, mindful medidation sessions in the middle of forestic sounds in pure nature, energetic yoga sessions in the morning, versatile & wonderful massages, relaxing pool areas and jacuzzis with a beach view, and direct access to the beautiful beach make your stay there a unique experience. It's a perfect place to disconnect from the world and re-connect with yourself, others and the nature around you. It's a must stay and we will definitely recommend going there to all people traveling to Brazil - you won't regret it! :)

This was our first room in the hotel and it was much better than the second room we had! Even though it was a lower category. Nothing to complain about regarding the room. The whole hotel is great according to activities and the restaurant (food and the staff at the restaurant) are all exceptional!

The guy on the reception was not so nice when we arrived. Our room was not ready at check-in time. We checked in after 15:30 and we had to ask if we could wait at the restaurant ourselves. He offered nothing. Not even bringing our baggage in the room. Communication was not good. It was a little awkward - like ok just wait here standing. But, want to point out that all the other staff was great!!!

Such a beautiful hotel with wonderful, professionel and welcoming staff, who made us feel home from the start. The vegetarian restaurant is amazing, everything js fresh made for breakfast, including sourdough bread of a great quality and the best pão de queijo we had in Brazil. The yoga classes are really great as well, the teacher is warm and adapts the class to your need and the two studios are wonderful, you can hear the waves at all times. The facilities are new and looks great and overall there is a really great atmosphere in this place. The area is great for hikes and water sports.

Not everyone speaks English, but all staff knows at least some and overall this was not a problem for us. The water in the shower took some time to get hot in room 21, leading to a bit of waste water.

We had an excellent stay and the hotel met all of our expectations. The room was comfy, the location was quiet and perfectly nested in a protected area, and the beach small and welcoming. The restaurant is vegetarian and the food was great!

Breakfast could be a bit more diverse.

We loved the facilities, yoga & meditation and the location in nature. Very tasty breakfast - good quality. The restaurant and the staff at the restaurant where exceptional!!! Every dish was tasty even though we normally eat meat we didn't miss it at all here!

This was the second room we had during our stay and this was not the case with the other room but in this one the bathroom smelled horrible even after cleaning. literally like pee and so did all the room shortly after showering. I don't know why.

Great place to relax and unwind. Lots of amenities and activities available designed to help you connect with nature and your spiritual self. Extremely quiet and peaceful. Would have loved to stay longer. Short walk to the beach and nice pool area. Breakfast is basic but very good.

The hotel is located some distance from Buzios center which adds to the peacefulness but makes arranging transportation there rather difficult (taxi and Uber were near impossible to arrange but much easier for return)
