Everything was perfect. The rooms and the service was incredible. I had to do a work call at 5:30am one day. The sweetest waiter (I believe his name was Vinicius) brought me out a coffee and a little biscuit unprompted as soon as he saw me. He was wonderful! As was the female waitress and the brilliant reception staff, such as Gabriel. We honestly had the best trip here - one of my favourite hotels I have ever stayed in. The view over the bay was stunning and we would have cocktails at night in the heated pool, looking out over the bay.

Really exceptional. From check-in to check-out, everything was very smooth. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. The location of this hotel is just amazing snd peaceful. I think one of the most convenient locations in Buzios. Super close to shops and restaurants. The hotel restaurant has a great view and the food is delicious. Breakfast was superb. Loads of variety. We got a premium suite half of our stay and the master suite the other half. Both rooms were amazing. Definitely worth the money. Lohan from front desk made our stay even more special. He was very nice and proactive. He made us feel home from the first second. So thanks to him we enjoyed Buzios even more.

This is nothing to do with the hotel or its staff. Unfortunately, there was a bar/club not very close to the hotel but still close enough to hear the music and the people at night. People getting out of this club were very loud, shouting and screaming regardless of the time in the night. This was not very pleasant. I guess the hotel cannot do anything about this.

Everything about Deste Hotel was exceptional. The room was comfortable, the location was fantastic, and the restaurant staff were especially outstanding. One woman from Uruguay really stood out with her warm service and professionalism—she made my mornings extra pleasant. The whole stay felt relaxed, welcoming, and well-organized.

A small thing—coffee in the room wasn’t complimentary—but this didn’t affect my overall enjoyment at all.

Great location close to the centre of the resort with many shops bars and restaurants close by. The layout and decoration are stylish and the staff very helpful. The sunset view from room 12 balcony is very special. Breakfast is nicely presented and varied.

Very little storage space in our room. A few drawers or shelves would have meant we didn’t have to store clothes on the floor of the wardrobe. Restaurant wine prices were very high compared to numerous other surrounding restaurants. This may be why the restaurant was empty most lunch and dinner times.

We absolutely loved everything about Vila d’este! Every staff member we encountered was so friendly and welcoming. It really made our stay special. The rooms and hotel are spotless and perfectly styled. We stayed in the Exclusive Suite with the spa, and it was absolutely worth booking. The breakfast is also a big highlight with delicious food, one of the best if not the best selection we have had in a hotel. Vila deste also has its own private stairs that lead straight to the main center of Búzios, so everything is within walking distance. There is no need to hire a car. If you are looking for a place to stay in Búzios, I would choose Vila d’este every single time. My Husband and I will definitely be back.

This hotel is just absolutely beautiful. We booked it as a treat as our last stop on our honeymoon, as we wanted somewhere to relax for a few days after travelling around Argentina and Brazil. The location is amazing, there are restaurants, bars and lovely shops all within an easy 5 minute walk of the hotel. There are also one or two beaches all within a short walking distance. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and nothing was ever too much trouble. The facilities of the hotel were excellent and everywhere was so clean and fresh. The breakfast had a great selection every morning and the bar and snacks were also great. We booked the premium suite so we had a small terrace with a pool overlooking the beach and we would highly recommend this as it was great value for money and our pool was a real sun trap in the afternoon, with beautiful views to watch sunset. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to book in Buzios.

Nothing - it was perfect!

Everything was fantastic as last year.

Breakfast staff friendly and views exceptional but a hotel of this level needs better bread, pastries, granola and coffee Infinity pool wasn’t quite full and flowers were overgrown ruining the effect . Last year was perfect. Our check in was delayed one hour because the hotel was short staffed. They should have bent over backwards to make us feel welcome at that point but didn’t :)

Beautiful hotel. The atmosphere, the decoration, the views, all are very very beautiful. We loved our room with extended bathroom with tub. Staff is super friendly and helpfull.

The only problem we had here was the parking, you have to park on the streets and there is not much availability. Also you can only pay the parking in cash, so make sure you bring some. Also the dj at sunset for us was not necessary, not our cup of tea, but guess that is personal.

Property is beautiful and well maintained. The views are wonderful. Breakfast is diverse and delicious. The restaurant overall was very good. The restaurant staff wonderful. The front of house staff varied. Some speak English well, others barely. I had booked the main suite (master suite) online. They claimed I have booked one of the junior suites, which are nice, but not what I was expecting. There we three suites advertised, I picked the most expensive one, assuming it was the main suite. But no. Very strange and no apologies. If you want the main suite, you have to ask and book the master suite and receive confirmation with it mentioned in the email, otherwise you are out of luck.

Wonderful staff and location. All the staff could not have been better and more helpful. The view of the town was stunning.

I am afraid the restaurant was not very good. I went for dinner the first night, and the food quality was average at best and expensive. Steak Tartare, my favourite meal, was bland and not worth having. The breakfast was OK, but there were little changes each day to what was on offer, which was a shame. Again staff were excellent and helpful.
