Pousada Vida Nova is an exceptional place, very clean and comfortable. The owners and other personnel are kind and helpful, they helped us with many advice regarding trips, transfers, taxi. The breakfast is rich and with a wonderful view over the river. There is always someone at check in, 24h/24h. Coffee is also always available. The location is close to city center if you walk parallel to the river, however note there are no real restaurants around, it seemed more like a local neighbourhood. What was really helpful for us is the fact they have a peer so the boat for Atins could drop us directly on the pousada peer. Overall a great stay for the money, I would come back again !

It was not a problem for us, but the AC can be a bit loud so is better to have earplugs if you have a light sleep.

Very friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast in a nice environment, comfy beds, great views of the Preguiças river. It also has a nice spot for swimming at the river and boarding tour boats. They also allowed us to check-in in the early morning and have breakfast for a nice price, so we could enjoy a morning tour

It isn't as close to the city center as I thought, which makes it harder for guests to reach the main areas of the city without a car, specially at night. In our room, the bathroom layout was tight, and the sink had a leak which was wetting the floor after we used it.

This is a great pousada, the staff are all very attentive and friendly, the rooms are nice and the pousada is beautifully located by the river, with a nice sunset view from the veranda. The breakfasts were great too!

Good to know this pousada is a 15/20 minute walk from the centre of town, it’s easy to take taxis though.

The staff was very attentive. Although they do not speak English, they communicated in English with me over WhatsApp and had tours (which I enjoyed a lot) arranged for me on the next day, before I had even arrived. The room is clean and cosy. With a lot of things added that others complained about: multi-plug, big mirror, places to put and hang your clothes. The breakfast was amazing, especially on the absolute gorgeous terrace, felt like paradise.

Suggestions for improvement: the bathroom window does not close properly. Not the fault of the owners: loud music in the surroundings at night.

Room was very small, bathroom door was warped and did not close. However, we did book late and perhaps got the last available room.

The staff were so so helpful! I arrived at 1:30am without a booking and they sorted me out without a problem. Also when I checked out, they happily stored my luggage for 3 days when I was on a tour. The breakfast and the view was also incredible!

The location is clean and beautiful. there are a lot of flowers and trees. The personal was really friendly and helpful. They helped us to find an excursions, made a barbecue. They also have had a spot to swim and swing. so you can see amazing sunset

Everything was good

We really enjoyed our stay here! We were here for 3 nights to see the famous Lencois Marahenses. The staff and owner were very helpful and various times offered help with transport, tours, etc. - anything you would need. The breakfast terrace and view and just amazing. Rooms and all property is very clean

Great views from the river, excellent location to take a boat tour, excellent help from staff organizing tours.

The room was very small. Loud music and neon lights until late at night (it was not the weekend).
