The care of the staff is world-class. Truly a wonderful experience from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. The view...wow...is there a better vista in Brazil than from the pool of Carmel? I highly doubt it! This is a truly wonderful establishment which deserves its high praise and is worthy of its expensive price tag. Big shout out to the lovely serving staff and J - I can't imagine a more hospitable, hilarious and helpful garçom. Additional points for the greatest ceviche I have ever eaten. Can't stop dreaming of it!

We found the eagerness with which the staff cleaned our room was a bit intense. We would leave our room for dinner or a drink, and we would return to two staff members steadfastly cleaning our room. It was appreciated, but a bit too much. One cleaning a day is all that is necessary, right?! Also, there was no hot water in the shower, and our pool was freezing. I wouldn't suggest paying the additional amount for a pool, unless you are fine with it being extremely cold.

Pool. Tranquility. Beach access.

The food. Needs a touch up. Over rated. Slow execution. Service at restaurant and breakfast set up is great. It’s really the lunch and dinner menu. It’s not that good. Lacks flavor and unlike the property there’s no sparkles.

The design, the facilities and the service are otherworldly. Big pool and great gym. Service was superb, plenty of well trained staff, serving inside the pool, quickly responding.

Althiugh the food was good and tasty, we feel it lacks personality, it felt somewhat generic. We'd have appreciated a more local touch in the menu. The town where the hotel is located has very few things to do.
