Where do I start, oh yes, this place is stunning! You receive a wonderful welcome at reception when you arrive. The people are warm and friendly (all the staff are the same.) The design of the hotel is a little Art Deco; very easy on the eye, quirky but gorgeous. A beautiful, simple, stylish design inside and out with a swimming pool at the side of the building. The rooms are really cosy with individual balconies, en-suite bathrooms and extremely comfy beds. The halls are decorated with colourful, inviting, local art. But it's when you come down for breakfast that the place really shines - great coffee, warm and cold milk, 4 cereals, 3 vats of fruit juices, a selection of hams and cold meats, a selection of cheeses, a selection of breads, buns and cakes. Fresh fruit cocktail bolstered by trays of freshly cut watermelon, papaya and other exotic fruits. Scrambled eggs with accompanying sausages of varying varieties and beautifully and perfectly laid out breakfast tables. It's 5 star service at a 3 star cost!

Next door's noisy air conditioner - all night long...

Breakfast was exceptional, lots of options and excellent quality. Best hotel breakfast I have ever had. The location is very close to a laundromat, as well as a large supermarket. It's also close to excellent food locations for eating out, and the center of town. It is within a 15 minute calm walk from the ocean with excellent beaches.

The bed in the room where we stayed was two single beds sort of stitched together with Velcro. The overall quality of the mattresses in the two single beds was poor. There is no elevator, so luggage can be annoying. The pool was not well cleaned, but close enough to the ocean that it doesn't really matter.

The breakfast was good with lots of options of meals, cheese, fruit etc. Staff were friendly. 24hr reception desk which is a god send when travelling in Brazil! Location was great as well. Room was large.

The room. Felt old, outdated and unkempt. The light didn't work in the room and even the bathroom light wasn't working (although upon request they did promptly come and fix the lights). However, just needs some TLC and maintenance to update the room.

The bathroom wasn’t very cleaned and the kitchen props were damaged and weren’t usable.
