the whole place is very clean, location is exceptional, staff are helpful, the presence of a store right across for coffee and basic food was great.. grocery store one block away.. kitchen facilities are great
the room was too small for the number of people. people respected the stated quiet time at 11pm but unfortunately one group on second and third night were totally oblivious to the presence of other people in the morning.. really early, on the phone.. pacing back and forth in the room for more than an hour. given that they were trying to book during the aircanada strike, i did not say anything but signs about quiet time till 8 am for example may be helpful.

We had a really lovely stay at this hostel! The location is absolutely beautiful — peaceful, scenic, and perfect for relaxing or enjoying a quiet getaway. Everything we needed was just a short walk or drive away, which made exploring the area super easy. One of the things we appreciated most was the free parking 2 mins walking to the property. The hostel itself was clean, cozy, and well maintained. Staff were friendly and welcoming, and the whole experience felt smooth and well-organized. We’d absolutely stay here again — great value, great location, and a truly comfortable stay overall!

The location was awesome. The place was excellent value for money. I generally love hostel vibes, cooking and socializing with people, and this was no exception. This place was super clean, especially for a hostel. I brought my family with baby, and everyone was great with us. All in all, I totally recommend this place and would stay there again.
My bed had a bit of a groove where people had obviously slept before. Also, some of the pans in the kitchen were kind of sketchy T-Fal with coating that had been scraped off ages ago — throw them out, already.

This is a really nice hostel , mixed age group which is good for older travellers. Very central to downtown Jasper . Cheap and cheerful . Staff really friendly and accommodating allowed me to leave bags very early in the morning of my arrival prior to check in .
The hostel common room didn’t have much going on , perhaps a beer fridge and some organised activities would have been good , a trip to the mountains for skiing weekly or a quiz or games night get people interacting a bit more however this is a good hostel and I would absolutely come back when solo visiting the area .

This is a fantastic hostel. Shoes off policy at the entrance which makes the hostel super clean and homely feeling (just bring indoor shoes to wear if needed like flip flops). Nice chill out area upstairs with books and board games. Staff all friendly. Our room was perfect, private for two people with shower and toilet located nearby (both of which were always clean and nice). Kitchen was excellent, plenty of hobs/ovens/sinks/other kitchen appliances, spotlessly clean, plenty of seating and fridges/racks etc. A few parking spaces onsite, and is located right in the heart of the town. Hostel seemed very quiet when we were there (which we loved!) but that is probably a reflection of the hard times of Jasper just now (still well worth a visit!).
Nothing.

Clean room and bathrooms. Helpful staff. Bear spray rental available for $5. Free parking is close enough--on Pyramid Lake Road, by the church. Ample kitchen facilities.
Could use more clean dish towels in the kitchen. Some dorm mates who must've come as a group were inconsiderately loud at 4:30AM when they were moving out. Another dorm mate felt free to be in his underwear--he could have at least wore shorts, being that it was a mixed gender dorm!

Fantastic, quiet location just a few minutes’ walk from the town centre. Our room was small and comfortable and provided all that we needed during our stay and the staff were obliging. Although we had our own kitchenette, which was very handy, we chose to use the communal kitchen downstairs which was certainly the best one we have ever come across in all our travels. It was modern, very spacious and spotlessly clean. There were four work stations which provided plenty of room for food preparation, and there was also a vast array of utensils for guests to use. We particularly liked how there were literally piles of tea-towels and cloths available for wiping dishes and work surfaces, which after one use went into a container for laundering – such a practical and hygienic idea.
Although there is free parking on-site, it is limited and slightly awkward. However, it is possible to find alternative free parking a block away.

Clean, well maintained and with a well stocked kitchen. Beds in the dorm were good value, and I liked the option of a private toilet and shower for a dorm. Good location, with plenty of restaurants/cafes in walking distance. COME TO JASPER, they need all the support they can get. Good base for doing hikes in the area unaffected by recent wild fires.
Only limited on-site parking, but plenty of street parking near by. The common area wasn’t particularly inviting.

The location is excellent, being close to restaurants and a grocery store, and there are plenty of parking spaces nearby. The front desk staff are friendly and nice, adding to the positive experience. My family stayed in a private suite, and we were pleased to find that it had air conditioning. I initially thought that Jasper would be cool even in the summer, but I was mistaken. The air conditioning in the private suite was absolutely necessary for a comfortable stay. The room has a private bathroom.
This was my first time staying at a hostel, and I felt quite unused to it. However, I'm sure others might have more positive experiences than I did. I found the room to be too small, and there was no breakfast provided. Additionally, there is a no-shoe policy in the hotel, but the sign was not clear at all. My family was asked by a staff member to take off our shoes, which was embarrassing. I don't believe that this is a family-friendly hotel. Additionally, the internet was not stable.
