Breakfast was very good. We came near the end of breakfast, so the eggs were a little old. Everything else was very good. Selection of hot and cold items was great.

When we checked in and out, we could not find a clerk. There was a number to call, but we ended up in a loop of “let me direct your call” which only ended when we hung up. The chain on the toilet broke during our stay. No big deal. Told them about it on checking out by leaving a note. The hotel did call a couple of hours later to see if we checked out. Didn’t affect quality of our stay.

It was all that I expected from a Motel in a town like Slave Lake,, There was a walking trail in the woods behind , I liked that. very close to all things that one needs. I liked the staff, I do not like people who are too eager to please, I am annoyed by those, so the staff was just perfect yet helpful and professional.

Their air conditioning does not reduce humidity, lot of humidity in the air due to the big lake close to it, the air conditioning worked really well but it was adding more humidity in the room, It is a standard practice in Canada , to avoid un-necessary water accumulating in the system they just dry it out in the room , I do not blame them for what seems to be a standard practice in Canada.

Breakfast was great, gym was good, room was good, bathrooms were good.

Better sheets on the bed, mine had a weird grease stain, when I asked for a new one they said we will be right there to fix it, had to call the 3hrs later, then someone came right away.

My room was upgraded upon check-in, free of charge. Hotel employees/team were pleasant, attentive. Complimentary drinks,sandwiches, breakfast exceeded expectations. Check in was efficent,pleasant. Room was spacious, quiet, clean, and king size bed was very compfortable.

Restaurants available menu would be a great touch in guest rooms. The lack of one however, saved me dollars on room service. Providing a map of hotel amendities would of been appreciated as well. Perhaps a bit more attention to room cleaning is my only suggestion. Prior guests food was still in fridge, and my lost earring did find a few dust bunnies behind bed.

I liked how friendly and welcoming the restaurant staff was in the restaurant! Highly recommend to friends.

I liked that my cat was allowed to stay with me.

I didn’t enjoy that we couldn’t pick our own breakfast.

We liked it that we got to check in early and they upgraded us to a king-size room instead of a queen which was very much appreciated

TVs were little small and no list of the channels that they had

Loved the location, our view was great and amazing selection for breakfast! Good value for our money.
