This is a cute old building that has been completely redone inside, & has a boutique feel. The deluxe queen was very spacious. You can easily walk to the beach & walk to several nice restaurants in town. The restaurant right in front was not open, as it was only open weekends, until high season. There was a wonderful young man, that was working in the lobster storage facility, that opened the gift shop, for us & for a couple to purchase lobsters. He spent a long time talking to us all about the lobster industry. Alma is a cute little town with a great bakery!

The booking.com ad says it has an seaview & garden view, & it does not. It is a very long way back from the beach, & the Alma Seafood Restaurant & a cottage is in the way. The view is more of the parking lots. My husband was very upset & wanted to stay somewhere else, like the cabins up on the hill, so we could see the ocean from our room. It was disappointing.

The room was clean and comfortable. The electric fireplace space heater was more than adequate for us. The location is excellent - a very good stay for the things we wanted to do/see. Room has a small frig/freezer, microwave and toaster - three things we found useful for our breakfasts. Shower was good.

The bed was full size - we had expected queen. (Our room was called a queen room and we thought that meant a queen bed.) The restaurant that was a few steps away was not open when we were there - of course, not the fault of the cottage, but nevertheless a disappointment since it was one of the items noted in the property description.

The location is ideal to use as jump of place and in walking distance from all restaurants and shops in town.

The mattresses. Unfortunately they were lumpy and a but hard. That and curtains in the bedrooms to darken the rooms. Other than that we had not complaints about the property.

The location was great and the apartment was comfortable for our party of three. The kitchen though small met all our needs. Comfortable beds. Staff was quick to answer queries and requests.

Would have liked/expected the second bathroom to be on the main level,

Terrific location, just steps away from Main Street, restaurants, beaches, etc. The room was freshly painted in attractive colors. We liked the Alma Lobster Shop, just behind the suites, which is run by the same owners - great food and great value.

Our room was advertised as having a kitchenette - it had a fridge, microwave, toaster, dishes, cutlery, etc. The "coffee maker" was a Keurig, which we consider turns out coffee-colored water, so we had to wait until the local restaurants opened to get some actual coffee. The shocker, though, was there was no kitchenette sink. We had to wash our breakfast dishes in the bathroom sink. Note: many of the suites and cottages have actual kitchens. I think our room - the "Lobster Den" - may have been the only one with a sink-free kitchenette.

Location, location, location! It was beautiful. Access to the shore was fantastic. We travelled off season and it was great that the nearby restaurant was closed and there were no crowds.

Nice large, comfortable room with a small fridge, microwave and Keurig coffee maker. There was also guest access to a full kitchen and washer and dryer. Parking was spacious and on site. Very cute, friendly town and right across the bridge from a Fundy Nat'l Park Office and only 45 minutes from Hopewell Rocks!! Lots of good restaurants in town.

This end unit was quiet and felt tucked away from the hubbub of tourist traffic and long weekend revellers and yet within walking distance to every restaurant, shop and bay lookout in Alma. The ability to park near the entry, a little deck with chairs and the fact that there was a ramp and welcome greeting were super!

The TV set-up was not working for me. Connections hanging from the TV seemed unplucked. But I enjoyed the peace and quiet for a change and the relative good Internet speed made up for this one issue.

The room was quite basic but comfortable.

Although a washing up bowl was provided, the bathroom sink wasn’t big enough to fit the bowl, so we ended up having toto do the washing up in the bath. Okay, but not ideal.

great location for seeing Hopewell Rocks and Joggins Fossil Cliffs as well as the park. Easy walk to several good restaurants. comfortable space for four adults

kitchen was small need a light in corner by desk in bedroom and a chair with small table would have been nice
