The owners are really nice and attentive. The homemade biscuits and muffins were very good. They were willing to make eggs to order, and as usual with big smiles.

I've been coming here for 3 yrs now. They've slowly been renovating, so still a bit dated...BUT...they have heat pump air (nice and quiet unlike other places I've stayed), renovated bathrooms, keyless entry...still some work to do, but it is clean and the bed was comfy. I go out of my way to stay here on my yearly pilgrimage to Cape Breton.

We appreciate the care from the Staff; we got cups and a kettle to our room, they helped us when internect connection did not initially work, they were very attentive and genuinely helpful, for which we have been so grateful. They made scrambled eggs for breakfast and the homemade muffins were very tasty! They were also chatty and eager to have a conversation, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The location is very peaceful and ideal for a short walk in the woods. The room has a lamp that charges a mobile phone - what a great idea! The bathroom was clean and there were several towels provided. We recommend this location as it only took us 40 min. drive to reach Fundy National Park, it is a short drive.

An older motel with updates bathrooms, heat pump that cooleed.the room really fast, comfortable beds, fridge and microwave were old, but worked great. Breakfast was served in the office and you can eat outside on the patio or take back to your room. The owner will cook eggs which was a nice addition to the continental breakfast items available.

There was a recycle bin that was overflowing by the outside ice machine. There were cans and bottles scattered on the ground. It would have been nice not to see that, but it wasn't a big deal.

The owners are very kind, they offered a free coffee when we arrived. The breakfast is good, they even prepared fresh scrambled eggs. Having a good morning coffe on the terrace looking down the valley is absolutely awesome. The room is a little bit small, but clean and comfortable. However the wifi is very slow in the evenings when all the guests use it.

The staff are so lovely and quick to respond if you need anything. The beds are super comfortable! The breakfast is similar to a regular hotel Continental breakfast but with a personal touch. The wifi is not good but reception is good so we just used our phone plan when we needed a faster connection. I would absolutely stay here again.

The owners were absolutely incredible people! They were so welcoming, the rooms were clean! We will definitely stay here again in the future!

The wifi didn’t work great and the only reason that is a negative is because cell service also isn’t great there so there was no way to connect with anyone.

The owners are lovely persons, the breakfast is really nice, the place is absolutely relaxing, close to Bay of Fundy which is spectacular. Rooms are a bit old with old furniture like you can find in most of the motels in north America but confortable with all the necessary you need: air conditioned, clean private bathroom, microwave, and fridge.

It's a pitty that there are things to throw away stored at the entrance

The owners are the kindest people and they put a great deal of care into their business. The room was super clean and the bed was comfy! This is an old-fashioned classic motor inn that reminds me of places I stayed has a child growing up in the 70s. The motel is located in a lovely spot with picnic tables under tall pines with fairly quiet surroundings. The simple with breakfast was perfect for our needs and included home-baked blueberry muffins and scones. The owner walked us over to our room and made sure we were comfortable and all of our questions were answered when we checked in. Will definitely stay again if I'm back in the area. Such an excellent value. Sussex is a nice little town with everything a traveler might need and has a wonderful bakery, coffee roaster, restaurants, art studios and stores for supplies.

Room was very clean. Good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Comfortable bed and pillow. Quiet location with easy access to Hopewell rocks. Good continental breakfast. Owners were pleasant and helpful in providing directions. Room had small refrigerator and microwave. Had a nice one night stay.

A hair dryer in the room would be nice and an ice machine. These were very minor things and the hosts were lovely people.

The owner escorted us to our room and showed us how to work.the TV and bedside lamps. He also asked us about our breakfast menu. Loved the fact that we picked the time and they delivered a wonderful breakfast to our room. The room was spotless! Bed was comfy. Area was well maintained.

Toilet was a little short for my liking.
