The location was perfect. It was right in the middle of the Main Street with all restaurants, shops and beach within an easy walking distance. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. The chairs on harbor were great to watch the tides and fishermen come into port. We would choose to stay here again if we’re in the area.

It took a while for the hot water to arrive in the shower. Water pressure was great the first day. Showered in the afternoon/ early evening. By the end of my shower on the second day (morning shower around 8:00am), the water was down to a trickle. The stairway next to our room was a bit shaky, felt disconnected from the building.

Excellent location by the harbor to watch the Fundy tides rise and fall. The room was clean and had a small but well equipped kitchen for those who stay for several days. There are 8 restaurants within a short walking distance as well as a bakery. The Inn also has a large gift shop attached to the reception area. There are Muskoka chairs set out in the lawn to make tide viewing very comfortable. Unfortunately several people just left their cigarette butts on the ground in front of the chairs which, in my opinion is bad manners but not the fault of the management.

Steps to the upper level are steep and the top step is a different height than the rest.

We chose the Alpine Motor Inn for its location. It is at the western entrance to the Fundy Park. It was a bonus that our room was on the upper floor, with a view toward the bay. This was a major bonus. One of the main attractions at the Bay of Fundy is the noteworthy tides; with a window facing the bay - we had a front row seat! The atmosphere of the inn is straight out of a Beverly Cleary novel - very cosy. This contributed to the restful relaxed atmosphere we were aiming to acheive. We also were able to cook for ourselves, which is important with spedcial diets.

It was all just fine.

This was a very comfortable and accommodating place to stay for a few nights while exploring Fundy. It is conveniently located to all the sights and experiences. The staff is friendly and very helpful. James, in particular, was so kind. He went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed and assisted us with an unexpected situation with respect and privacy. There was a kitchenette and coffee maker. The view of the bay was gorgeous.

There was nothing not to like.

Excellent location, good price, clean and comfortable, no cleaning daily but the staff brings new towels and coffee every morning, calm, parking, store wiem everything 2 min walk, cooking facility in room - all basic but comfortable, very good for the price we paid. (For any meal I recommend the Octopus Garden, all marvellous from breakfast to true Italian pasta, nothing to do with the hotel, but just a good experience to share).

Bathroom was quite small with no fan, but fully funtional. You could open the window to ventilate, but that was right into the shower where u could be seen, when open. Also the water changed temperature drastically in the shower if the toilet was flushed or the sink was in use at the same time.

The hotel was within walking distance of many restaurants. There was also a gas station/convenience store in town. The second floor rooms did not have an elevator, so guests with mobility issues should specify a first floor room. Some of the rooms did not have air conditioning; ours had windows in the front and back that could be opened and the ceiling fan did a good job of circulating the cool evening air. Breakfast was not included, but there was a refrigerator/freezer in the room. There was also a restaurant down the street that served breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Our room and the bathroom were clean and comfortable. We really liked the Adirondack chairs on the property, from which there was a view of the harbor. Great place to read after dinner!

Guests who prefer air conditioning should request a room that has an air conditioner. We stayed when the afternoon temperature was in the 80 degrees Fahrenheit, so the open windows and fan worked just fine for a comfortable night's sleep.

The location was excellent, on the shore with an excellent view of the Bay of Fundy. It's a small business and the staff were friendly. The facilities were very clean.

The room was very small. There was no desk, minimal bathroom counter space, and it could have used more outlets especially when two of us had multiple devices that needed charging.

Alma is nicer and offers more than we expected. The hotel is perfectly located for walking to restaurants, shops, the wharf & beach. Nice spot on the grounds with chairs for enjoying water views. The room was older, but comfortable and clean.

The outdoor stairs leading to the second floor room were steep and not completely secured to the side of the building. I weigh well under 150 lbs, and I could feel movement on the stairs that made me uneasy.

Checked in ahead of time, easy, comfortable and convenient location. Will certainly recommend and be back for many other trips in the future.

Accommodations were great, golf course and park were excellent. The only drawback was that none of the restaurants were serving food past 7:30-8pm on a Saturday. Understandibly it was close to shoulder season but a slight inconvenience when looking to have a later dinner.
