We chose the Alpine Motor Inn for its location. It is at the western entrance to the Fundy Park. It was a bonus that our room was on the upper floor, with a view toward the bay. This was a major bonus. One of the main attractions at the Bay of Fundy is the noteworthy tides; with a window facing the bay - we had a front row seat! The atmosphere of the inn is straight out of a Beverly Cleary novel - very cosy. This contributed to the restful relaxed atmosphere we were aiming to acheive. We also were able to cook for ourselves, which is important with spedcial diets.

It was all just fine.

The hotel was within walking distance of many restaurants. There was also a gas station/convenience store in town. The second floor rooms did not have an elevator, so guests with mobility issues should specify a first floor room. Some of the rooms did not have air conditioning; ours had windows in the front and back that could be opened and the ceiling fan did a good job of circulating the cool evening air. Breakfast was not included, but there was a refrigerator/freezer in the room. There was also a restaurant down the street that served breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Our room and the bathroom were clean and comfortable. We really liked the Adirondack chairs on the property, from which there was a view of the harbor. Great place to read after dinner!

Guests who prefer air conditioning should request a room that has an air conditioner. We stayed when the afternoon temperature was in the 80 degrees Fahrenheit, so the open windows and fan worked just fine for a comfortable night's sleep.

Alma is nicer and offers more than we expected. The hotel is perfectly located for walking to restaurants, shops, the wharf & beach. Nice spot on the grounds with chairs for enjoying water views. The room was older, but comfortable and clean.

The outdoor stairs leading to the second floor room were steep and not completely secured to the side of the building. I weigh well under 150 lbs, and I could feel movement on the stairs that made me uneasy.

Location was perfect, we were close to the boats that sit on the ground at low tide and rise at high tide. We were walking distance to restaurants and shops and the gas station with convenience store. The motel was clean and the bed was comfortable

My room was right beside the stairs going up to the upper level and people came in around 10 pm. You could hear them going up, closing their door, then running back down the stairs for the next load. The beds are small maybe a double size. Parking is not very organized and the parking lot gets dicey at times.

Checked in ahead of time, easy, comfortable and convenient location. Will certainly recommend and be back for many other trips in the future.

Accommodations were great, golf course and park were excellent. The only drawback was that none of the restaurants were serving food past 7:30-8pm on a Saturday. Understandibly it was close to shoulder season but a slight inconvenience when looking to have a later dinner.

Great location very central to everything on main Street. We were able to walk to a restaurant across the road for my hubby's birthday supper and this am we walked down to the main street for breakfast at another restaurant . The view from the arnarondack chairs overlooking the harbour and fishing boats was beautiful and serene. The motel room was clean and comfortable.the staff was friendly and helpful.

Comfortable bed and pillows. Good shower with plenty of towels and toiletries. No Hairdryer. Coffee machine in the room. Nice location. Our room was on the 1st floor up steps, no lift. Restaurants within walking distance and lots of parking available.

People walking past could look in the window as there wasn't anything to allow privacy.

You can't beat the location. The room was so comfy. They thought of everything including dishes and cutlery. There is a store across the street to buy things but I literally stepped out the door a d was on the ocean.

There is no air conditioner which was fine given the weather. However, I had neighbour's that chatted outside my door until early hours. It would have been nice to close the window and turn on the air if there was one. Not a big deal.

This accommodation is very conveniently located mid-town and allows easy walking access to virtually all restaurants, coffee shops and local conveniences. Our room was well equipped with minimal dish ware and cutlery suitable for enjoying take-out meals. The bathroom and shower were good and the bed was comfortable. If weather allows, there several Adirondack chairs on the lawn facing the water and the marina to enjoy a beverage after a day of travel. This property is also within a very short drive to many hiking and recreational trails in Fundy National Park for all outdoor enthusiasts. Also Hopewell Rocks and the amazing “Flower Pots” rock formations and incredible tides are only 30min west of Alma.

Everything! The hotel is right on Alma Beach next to the dock. High and low tides are easy to view and the Adirondack chairs set at the edge of the grass are perfect for quiet contemplation. There is a gift shop attached. The hotel is in the center of the village, all restaurants are walkable and the rooms are exceptionally clean.

The front steps are a bit high for someone slightly handicapped needing a cane like me, but the outside stairs have a railing.
