What a gorgeous place to stay! The room with a view is worth it, and it is so nice to have a walk out to your own sitting area. We hot some gorgeous pictures of the sunset. Being on the water was lovely. The front desk girl was not overly friendly, and I found that disappointing. The restaurant is attached, and it was just okay food, nothing fantastic for the price. The beds and pillows were super comfy, and the room was lovely.

The staff could be friendlier. The parking can be confusing but easy enough to figure out, and there is quite a bit of it once you do.

The property is comfortable, in a great location, and the staff is quite competent and professional.

I often book properties because they have Level 2 EV chargers on site, which is the case for the Rodd Miramichi. This allows me to leave with a fully charged vehicle. The problem however is that if you don't get up in the middle of the night to unplug your fully charged EV, the service provider will continue to charge you. This is a fine policy for a mall or a place where one is not spending the night, but totally inappropriate for a hotel or motel. I will no longer be using Level 2 chargers in hotel or motel parking lots or let the availability of such a charger affect my choice of accommodations.

Location was wonderful. Spectacular sunset view from the dining room patio. Service for breakfast was terrible. We waited for service for over one half hour and then another 20 minutes for food to arrive at our table. And this was for two orders of French toast . . . not complicated. Dinner the night before, however, was very fine. Lovely young man, originally from the Philippines (Braye ????) was our server. Very attentive, informative and pleasant to talk with. Excellent experience that made our stay in Miramichi memorable.

The rooms were lovely, clean and comfortable beds. We had our dog and they provided food bowls, a dog bed and a couple of treats. The kids had a great time in the pool.

There is a restaurant that we didn’t go to. It would be nice if breakfast was included in the price. There was a problem with the booking and I am not sure if the error was with booking.com or the hotel. It took a while to receive a refund but both sides worked hard to solve it and the staff was always very friendly.

hotel felt very expensive & nice, like a spa

our room on the ground floor faced the parking lot and we had someone park in front of our room and sitting in their car for hours with their headlights shining into our room. car doors slamming multiple times & knocking on our windows made us not feel safe. the staff was nice about it and gave us a new room on the second floor.

The location was great and the room was modern, spacious and comfortable. We had a waterside room with a small deck which was a nice spot to decompress after a long drive. Very clean, large tv with loads of channels and generally a customer focused, upscale spot. Staff were friendly and responsive.

A bit pricey and our dinner in the restaurant was below average.

The staff there were exceptional, very customer oriented and responsive. I prepaid through Booking.com and the rate was non-refundable. Unfortunately, freezing rain and snow warnings made travel not advisable due to safety concerns. The Booking.com site said hotel make not charge customers even though the rate was non-refundable. When I contacted Rodd Miramachi they were very understanding and polite and cancelled the rate/fees. To date, Booking.com has refused to reverse the charges (I had prepaid) despite the position taken by the hotel. I am not sure how Booking are going to resolve this, but I should not have to pay considering weather precluded me from using the reservation and the hotel waived all charges during the very first call I had with them. I have stayed at the Rodd Miramichi before and this review reflects my experience there, It is a GREAT hotel to stay when in Maramichi.

The difficulties with the pre-payment arrangement, which was not caused in any way by the hotel. The Rodd Maramichi was excellent to deal with.

The location right on the river is perfect. There's a walking path that you can follow for quite a way. There's a good restaurant, and we had drinks and a lovely dinner on the patio by the river while watching the sunset. We were able to park right outside our ground floor room - very convenient for loading/unloading.

Room was nice and clean and quiet :) love the restaurant and the view of river ...great food , good service . Staff at desk was awesome !!!! When I arrived .. I enjoyed the hot tub and pool very nice :) thankyou great place to stay 😀 will be back again :)))

Only wish was view off patio facing the water view ... no worries maybe next time will be one available 😉

We could only stay one night and this hotel was perfect! Right on the river, we had a lovely view. Staff was very helpful and friendly, room was spacious and bathroom well supplied. We found a tourist information right across the bridge where we got a great recommendation for dinner. Highly recommend!
