We didn't get breakfast (not included as far as I know). The original reason for booking here was that we were flying out of St. John's the next day but all of the hotels there were fully booked or charging double their normal rates. I wanted somewhere within a reasonable driving distance. Honestly, Dildo Boathouse was a choice that I was avoiding as I had the impression that it might be rooms above a bar on the docks. At first view from the outside, it at least looked somewhat okay. The stairway to the upper level and then the room itself were a surprise.

If I wanted to be picky, the range of TV channels, but I don't normally bother much with the TV.

Everything was excellent, everyone was professional, but very friendly. The restaurant was also excellent and the room was clean and very comfortable.

The keyless entry, not sure but I think the codes for each room were the same, as later in the night after we had gone to bed the person staying across the hall use the code and tried to get into our room thinking it was their room, my husband woke and asked them what they wanted as they were opening the door and in realizing that they had the wrong room shut the door and left.

Location was beautiful, rooms were gorgeous and all staff were beyond friendly and accommodating! I visited with my 84 yr old grandmother and we had the most wonderful stay. We had dinner at the restaurant - the seafood chowder, fish tacos and fish & chips were delish! We enjoyed our evenings on the outdoor patio that we had access to from our room on the front of the Inn. We watched the sun set with a glass of wine and in the mornings we had our coffee out there as well before we started our adventures for the day. Everything in the room was so well thought out, beautifully decorated, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We thank you for the wonderful stay :)

No bad comments from us! Just really wish that my grandmother was able to get into the jacuzzi tub but that is no ones fault. Tub was just too deep for her to be able to get in and out of but it would have been beautiful with the windows that surrounded the tub - what a view!

This is probably one of the best accommodations I have stayed in. The room is very well appointed, clean and spacious. The staff are helpful and the cafe/restaurant serves above average food. The location is pretty peaceful and of course beautiful though it is about 2km out of the town centre (the map on Booking.com was misleading in this regard). Overall a very pleasant stay in a beautiful part of the world.

Great little property with only six rooms. Comfortable, clean, and newly remodeled space is a great home-based for exploring the area.. Friendly welcoming staff. A big plus was the Music and Friends Restaurant that shares the property. Great place to land after a day of touring, live music, some of the best local seafood we encountered during our trip, and at a cost considerable lower than you find in St John's. If I return to Dildo in the future, I will not look any farther than this little gem.

A beautifully designed room. Exceptionally clean and the attention to detail was superb. Fabulous views over the bay. Great to also have a restaurant downstairs

There was a constant whirring noise from something - don't know what. Also add to that the noise from the fridge turning on frequency during the night meant a bit of a disturbed night. My advice, bring earplugs with you.

The cleanliness and the location.

When I booked the room it said it was a front ocean view. Plus they sent us a picture of the room overlooking the ocean. Upon arrival we received a room that had a partial view of the ocean from the side of the building through a side entrance door. Wasn’t pleased but they said they were full. Very disappointing.

Breakfast was not offered so we ordered their dessert biscuits with homemade preserves the night before. We ate them on our balcony in the morning. Delicious The restaurant is seasonal but they will tell you what restaurants are near by. We stayed in the king suite with an ocean view and a large semi private balcony. (The balcony is shared by two rooms but it has a divider in the middle.)

Our room was not cleaned between the first and second night. Normally this wouldn’t matter but the balcony is covered with roofing like material so tiny little stones were tracked into the room. On the plus side we were able to get more coffee pods for the coffee maker.

The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. The view was unbeatable, especially for sunsets over the bay! The property was very well maintained and super quiet at night. Having access to the room from both interior and exterior means was very handy and made the stay seem even more private than usual.

Breakfast options in the community were rather limited during our stay, so it really would’ve been nice to have even a continental brekkie on offer - either in the interior corridor or the restaurant area downstairs. We had to drive to Whitbourne (14km away) for breakfast. Not having a breakfast on site seems like a missed opportunity and would help strengthen the offering even more. The shower stall in our room was rather cramped, leaving not a lot of room to manoeuvre. It would have been great to have a handheld shower head in the bathroom.

We were fortunate to have the top floor room facing the ocean. Spectacular sunset. The bed was very comfortable. The room was extremely clean and comfy. Would recommend for a few days stay.

Nothing. The staff were extremely busy in the restaurant downstairs but made time out to take care of us. Loved it all.
