Was very accommodating. The pool was perfect. The Café was very accommodating for someone with celiac disease. Which was nice since it's hard to eat out with this disease. Staff were very friendly at the hotel and the Café. I loved how we actually got a breakfast voucher every day. Also, on my last day, I didn't have time to sit and get breakfast, so the staff at the hotel said we could use them towards bakery products instead.

That on the weekends the Café is open at 8am. It's not good for people who have to be somewhere before 8:30 am. Wish it was open at 7am. So you could get breakfast on the weekends. There was no other breakfast option

The hotel is mostly renovated and looks really nice. The beds are comfy but what sold me when I was booking was the vouchers for the restaurant. After staying two nights I decided to always book Claymore Inn. I have since stayed another 2 nights. My daughter and I have girls weekends and she loves it for the pool and the restaurant. It is close to everything, just across the parking lot is Boston Pizza. I found everything else we needed was less than 10 mins. away.

The pool facilities need work. The size of the pool is great, it's not freezing and having the access to a hot tub was nice too. The sealing around the hot tub looks kind of gross, the wood steps seem to be peeling. The water seemed cloudy and I wasn't sure how often it was being changed/how well the filters were working. We still enjoyed using the pool but I expected more.

Great value. Very friendly staff and the place was clean and comfortable. The breakfast arrangement with the Justamere cafe was a huge bonus as they offered lots of great food options including vegan friendly ones.

Finding the route to it was not obvious but we could see it from Church Street. Having a sign for it at the entrance to off of Church Street that leads to both it and the shopping malls would be helpful.

Great location and the café breakfast was fabulous!

Little disappointed that the Claymore is in part of a shopping area, surrounded with concrete and lots of traffic. Not sure if that was clear at all from the website. However, in spite of that I would recommend it for travelers who are passing through. However, if someone wanted to visit Antigonish, I’d suggest they look for something more cozy in a better location.

The pool room was over 40 degrees….there was little to no air circulation or ventilation. The pool was nice, as was the hot tub but so uncomfortable in the room, you had to be physically in the pool for the room temp to become even remotely tolerable Also the pool felt slimy on the bottom, and the chemical smell was strong. It needs a good clean and the ventilation needs repair……and then maybe less chemicals will be required

We couldn't do the breakfast. Even though we had gift certificates. They were having technical difficulties, and we had to leave. My husband did have a big breakfast there for dinner the night before though

That I could not stay longer. Had lots to do but nit enough time. Nothing I didn't like. I was happy

The rooms are decent in size and comfortable.

It was Thanksgiving Sunday when we checked out and there was no breakfast. Coupons of $15 per adult was provided which we can use to buy bread at their in house bakery which wasn’t too bad. Have I known there wouldn’t be any meal, I would have booked a different accommodation. Glad we only stayed for a night. Would I go back? Potentially.

the Claymore is somewhat "dated" but very clean. The pool area was great... hot tub and sauna, in addition to a good-sized pool. The complimentary breakfast vouchers were great and the menu choices were terrific. Loved the restaurant/bakery attached to the hotel!

There were only 2 pillows on each bed. Would have liked extras. To be fair, I didn't ask for more. I'm sure the staff would have accommodated me.

Breakfast as fantastic.The best bacon and bread I've ever had. The staff was very friendly and was treated every morning with a smile. If you go for lunch/dinner try the nachos ... the best!. Check in was easy. I arrived early, my room wasn't ready but I received a call when it was. The pool was never crowded and was clean.

I have no complaints.

They have an electrical vehicle charger. The staff is wonderful. It's walking distance to St.FX. Having the little mall, the Sobey's and the Liuor store all on the same property was great. Justamere Cafe is marvellous.

I had trouble with my TV and there was difficulty fixing it. If I was without a computer, or if I had kids, it might have been an issue.
