Very clean and nicely furnished. Bathroom had a bidet which I highly approve of. Good coffee in the room but no breakfast on site. There is also free laundry.

Our room was right on the highway, so there was some noise but not so much that we needed earplugs they provided to sleep. There was no staff on the property but communication by email and text was good. There was a very loud woman using the phone in the common area next to our room for over an hour. It was like having her in the room with us. Very obnoxious. Perhaps the owners could suggest that guests use their phones in their own rooms?

This was by far the best place we stayed in during our trip in Nova Scotia. It was super easy to check in and get our room. We absolutely LOVED the lounge area with laundry, nearly a full kitchen, a printer, a lounging area and a gym! We also loved the hot tub and it really made our night! The location of the hotel is perfect, and the little chairs on the porch overlooking the water are amazing. This place greatly exceeded our expectations and we would recommend it to anyone!

Loved everything about my stay at this hotel. Whoever said it was the best place they stayed at along the Cabot Trail was not wrong. It’s such a comfy and cozy place. Check in was seamless with regular text messages from the admin staff. They were able to accommodate my couple of hours early check in request. The room and bathroom were spotless. The entire property had such a home like feeling. Other guests were respectful and not loud either but the room did have earplugs available. There was coffee and tea, laundry machines and other snacks in the main area. The bathroom smelled so amazing. I had a good night sleep after a few days of sleeping in somewhat average places. If I’m ever back in Cheticamp, I know where I’m staying!

The bed was very comfortable, the bedding was great along with lots of towels in the bathroom. Nice that they had extra water, sparkling water, snacks in the room and self serve yogurt and granola bars for breakfast. Self check in was easy.

There was alot of background noise of pipes or compressors or motors running on things not sure what that was all about, they had ear plugs in the room not sure if every room has that but if thats the reason. There is a hot tub but no instructions left on how to get in when the gates were locked?

The location is very good, we can enjoy the sunset right at the porch! Moreover, I’d like to thank them very much due to I leaf behind my wedding ring there, they staff called me and couriered back to me in The US! It is really nice place to stay an it warmed my hart thinking of their help to return my wedding ring!

Our stay at The Archie & Isidore Hotel stood out as one of the highlights of our Cape Breton Road Trip. We knew we were in for a treat from the moment we stepped into our room. It was spacious, and the attention to detail was evident. There were candies, chocolates, and beverages including Nespresso coffee waiting for us :) The beds were clean, comfortable, and welcoming, promising a restful night's sleep after our adventures on the road. The fluffy, white towels and bathrobes added a touch of luxury, making us feel pampered and cared for.

Nothing that I didn't like about this place :) I truly loved our stay here.

They did a great job converting this older home into a beautiful and cozy hotel. We had room #2 in the main house and it was very nicely decorated with an amazing bathroom (bathrobes too!). It was all very fresh and clean. Snacks were provided in the room. Great sitting area with snacks, books and info on local attractions. A super nice workout room. Good communication with owners, though we never met them in person. Perfect location to get a good sleep after driving Cabot Trail counter-clockwise.

Yogurt and protein bars and good coffee were provided for breakfast but some fruit would have been really nice.

Exceptionally designed room, thoughtful details. Beautiful and charming old house.

We had a bike travel group taking over with loud conversations in a noise sensitive old building. Their special shoes made us wake up early. That took away the relaxation in this beautiful Boutique Hotel.

Room was open and available when we arrived. Has cold drinks and snacks. Washer/dryer available! And a workout room. After a long hike it was wonderful to get in the hot tub. Great recommendation for dinner and super close. Breakfast restaurant was just next door so we walked.

Not a thing to improve on. We would stay there again.

Everything a traveller might need was provided. The house itself is an old character home that has been beautifully redone. The floors slope, doors stick or don’t close, etc. This all adds to the charm! The beds & bedding were very comfortable. There is a weight room, 2 hot tubs and a communal kitchen (including a washer & dryer) that we didn’t use.

Everything was great.
