The patio layout is well done and the buildings are angled to provide privacy. The patio included an area with the hot tub and a double adirondack chair, with great views. Attached is a roofed porch with table and 2 chairs. The washroom is a good size with a bubble tub / shower and the bedroom is also a good size. The hot tub was clean, worked well and a great temperature under a full moon, even at 4degrees centigrade. The propane "fireplace" stove worrks great to heat the living space and provide atmosphere.

The kitchenette is very tiny though it does have everything described. The only issue is counter space. There was though all the articles you need to cook and eat small meals. The barbeque is small but also worked well. We were able to move some furnature around and bring in the small table from the porch, when it was too cool to have our dinner outdoors. Alternatively there is a small foldup shelf with two stools - ok for lunch.

It was impeccably clean, bright and cheery with beautiful views. We enjoyed the serenity and being able to have the ocean view. The property garden is meticulously maintained, and it was pleasant to spend some time there. We highly recommend it.

There was nothing that we didn't like, just a recommendation to have some information about how things worked and information about what to do and where to go. It's nice to have some information regarding the place and about the area from the perspective of the people involved with the property. When we did need assistance, the staff were responsive and kind.

Location was great with beautiful scenery all around. Hot tub cleaned and sanitized for each new check-in. Comfortable bed which is essential and a spectacular little path down to the rocky beach below the property. Air conditioning was good to have as well.

The obstructed view from our cottage (#10) was a bit disappointing for the price we paid. The other 9 cottages were directly facing the water for the great views of sunrise/sunsets and of the scenery across the water near Keltic Lodge. Our cottage faced the next door neighbour’s property, full of trees and a very poor view of the water and scenery. Would have loved to have a couple of comfortable chairs to sit on inside the cottage rather than the one resin wicker chair and the tiny love-seat.

We stayed here for two nights on our cape Breton road trip in late June. Our cottage had a magnificent view of the sea, was private,clean, and quiet, had a comfortable bed, and had some really thoughtful touches, for example there is a hummingbird feeder on the front window and terry cloth bathrobes are provided. There is a beautiful peaceful garden on the property as well. The staff went above and beyond to provide information about the area and directed us to a nearby beach where we had a magnificent sunset walk. We loved our stay there. We did not use the hot tub but it looked great and we saw our neighbors enjoying theirs.

The only kitchen table was small and high needing barstools. It folded down from the wall and did not feel stable or comfortable. We wound up dining on the couch in front of the picture window instead. The kitchen utensils and cookware were minimal, although we were able to manage cooking dinners with what was provided. These were small inconveniences in what was otherwise a lovely lovely stay.

Views of the ocean, central location, although a bit of a drive to restaurants, nice deck with chairs, fridge, burners, dishes, great shower, comfortable beds, nice landscaping and a pretty ‘secret’ garden area with a goldfish pond and seating. We ate at Main St Restaurant and bakery, and Coastal, both very good.

I have a bad knee, so wasn’t able to get into the hot tub, which was disappointing .

The cottages are excellent for two persons and are extremely clean. Beautiful location and the owners go the extra mile to ensure that you have everything that you need. I enquired where to purchase a couple of beach chairs and the owner lent me two.

Everything was to our complete satisfaction. This was a repeat rental for us and we enjoyed the location, view, and beach proximity. We found two excellent restaurants that were quite close to the cottages.

This lovely cottage that met our every need for our mother/daughter trip. Perfect location near wonderful cafes and hiking (both passions of ours). Everything imaginable was thought of for our comfort. Especially enjoyed grilling on the deck and having a hot tub after long hiking days. Management was very friendly and welcoming!

This was my first online booking, and did so last minute due to poor weather for camping, so I was a little nervous but it turned out great! The accommodations had all the amenities needed plus a fireplace, lovely view, and hot tub! The cabin was tastefully decorated and had beautiful artwork by a local artist displayed throughout. The gardens and beach were stunning.

No dislikes but I would have liked to purchase some of the artwork locally! : ) We arrived late/after dark/when pouring rain and without food so it may have been nice to have information about the closest stores/restaurants/hours, or if delivery was an option; however, certainly not a big deal. Just bring food if you don't want to leave upon arrival - because you probably won't!

The property is beautiful, loved the hot tub on our deck. Very private and relaxing. The bed is comfortable and cabin clean.

I liked everything but we came in May and really nothing is open around this area for dinners so take out and make your own. The kitchen in the cabin is small and could use more lighting.

The cabins were excellent for comfort, amenities, view, location, ease of check in and everything! We loved the hot tub in the cool weather!!

The coffee pot did not work well and none of the cups fit the amount of coffee brewed. A bit disappointing in the morning.
