Beautiful view, excellent morning breakfast buffet- breads, bagels, cereals, scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, yogurt, fruits, etc. Very friendly staff!

Did not know when booking a room that we would end up, in effect, in the basement. Although the room itself was comfortable, we were disappointed that booking.com did not list the location of these priced rooms. We booked months prior and would be good to know what one is getting when booking online. Had a similar issue with other booking through booking.com.

Great Stay. The staff are friendly, the property amazing. The view of the ocean was spectacular. Breakfast in the morning was nice and very convenient. We sat out on the deck- lovely. There is a sitting area- we played cards. They did not have dinner available- there a yummy restaurant 2 minutes away- Fisherman's- great sunset view.

I would have liked a ocean view room, instead we had the Cabot trail view- which was the parking lot. However being on the ground floor near the side door made it easy to get in and out.

Nice breakfast, very pleasant staff, comfortable room and lovely views.

Apparently this hotel used to do an evening meal which would have been great unfortunately they now do not offer this option which means a drive (15 minutes) to very limited selection of local dining options which close early in the evening (7.00pm) and have limited choice, especially for vegetarians. Not a criticism of the hotel which was lovely but something to be aware of when booking.

We got an upgrade to a sea view which was nice and the view was great. The breakfast was excellent.

When booked some time ago it had a good restaurant. However, on arrival, we were told it was closed for the season! It would have been nice to have received advance warning. We chose this hotel specifically for having a restaurant as it was well away from the town. Perhaps something on the website would have helped.

The location was excellent with spectacular views. The breakfast was one of my personal bests with a wide variety. They even had smoked salmon! The receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. One was a sofa bed, but it was big enough for two children (10 and 12 years old) to sleep comfortably. I strongly recommend. Thank you.

There wasn't a microwave oven in the room, but we were able to use one on the first floor, so it wasn't a problem.

It had an amazing view of the Ingonish beach. It was close to trails and other forms of entertainment There were lots of brochures describing everything available from restaurants to activities, etc. The staff was super helpful. The breakfast was varied and beautifully presented. When storms kept most of the guests in, there were games available in the dining common room and we felt comfortable enough for one of us to provide our own music. I absolutely loved my stay.

It’s a lovely facility and great location. Beautiful inside and out and the views can’t be beat. The restaurant was closed for dinner and I would say the breakfast was good (but not great). Was also included in the price.

It was a bit expensive and the water pressure in the shower was pretty feeble. That’s no crisis though. Rooms are also a bit tight if you have one of the ones we did and are a family of four. It was fine for a night though.

The views from the property, especially the back lawn, were exquisite. The breakfast was excellent and varied, and we really enjoyed our stay here. Most of our interaction was with Quinn and he was amazing, attentive, and really sweet.

The room itself, while in close proximity to everything in the lodge, was quite small, the amenities were not great and the bed needs to be replaced. It was very uncomfortable, squeaky and loud.

The view and grounds were very nice. Breakfast was decent and had a great view. It seemed a pretty good value when compared to other places in the area.

It was clean, but rooms could definitely use some updating and renovation work. For example, our bathroom door wouldn’t fully close due to the fit with the door frame. The bed was fair but not great.

The inn is very comfortable and close to most of the major attractions in the Ingonish area. It's too bad the nearby ski lift-gondola up Cape Smokey is such an eyesore but it appears that improvements are being made. Snow cover will help! Breakfast is very good with many options. Great ocean views from dining area.
