Location is right off the 104 at Lower South River, 10 minutes from Antigonish, 10 minutes from the beach. Our room was at the front. The unit was one room with 2 levels, one queen bed and one king bed. It was very spacious. We stayed for 3 nights, it was great to stay at a motel, where we could pull our car up to the door of our room. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Breakfast is preordered and fresh. Housekeeping came everyday and did a wonderful job cleaning. Owners and staff are very friendly. This our third time staying here, and although this is a hotel from the 60's it is my first choice of places stay in the area.

This is not a flash Hotel, but it is all one needs.

Check-in/check-out was quick and convenient, and it flexibly accommodated our night arrival. The virtual check-in was as easy as receiving a text message with our room number and the passcode (keyless entry!), selecting our breakfast items via a quick online survey format, and communicating our arrival on our mobile device after settling in the room. If we needed anything at any time, staff were only a quick message away, and the in-person option was also available. The "bi-level" room design was unique for us, and it provided a bit more privacy between the two beds. We were happy with the overall cleanliness and comfy beds. Our breakfast was ready for pick-up at our scheduled time, and it satisfied our appetites. We were able to check out virtually, but we just had to stop by the office to thank staff for a pleasant stay!

The bed was really comfortable, and the air-conditioning was welcome because the weather was so hot and humid. We had everything we needed in the room, such as a coffee maker, toaster, fridge, and TV, and the complimentary breakfast was really good.

I don't have any complaints. The room was comfortable, and we had all the amenities we needed. Ordering breakfast beforehand on my phone initially seemed inconvenient, but the ordering process worked smoothly, and the staff had all our food ready to pick up on time the next morning, so the process actually worked quite well, and we didn't have to jostle with others trying to get what we wanted to eat. So, again, no complaints! I liked everything.

The price is very reasonable and our room exceeded expectations with regards to comport and cleanliness- it was super clean. Check in was easy as was ordering and picking up of breakfast which was generous. Very helpful and friendly staff for reception and housekeeping. It was very convenient to have Mother Webb's across the street. The pride of ownership is obvious in every facet of the Coastl Inn. We will return- Thank you!

Bottle opener was missing in our room.

We had one bed, with a table on both sides. That is huge. The arrangement to check in is terrific, a result of covid i'm sure but so much better than standing at a desk after a long drive, waiting for clerks to do paperwork. And breakfast was a breeze. Basic, not greasy eggs and meat, but toast, bagels, cereal...and you prepare it yourself in your room. The woman we did interact with, to get our breakfast, was very pleasant and efficient. The location in antigonish was right across from a restaurant with the best steak. If you go here, go to mother webbs.

The family operating were very friendly and helpful. They provided a good breakfast and lots of fresh hot coffee. They has have an excellent old school steak house across the street.

Unfortunately they have a couple of rooms that in the corner of the building that had a shared separate entrance so we didn't have direct walk out to our motorcycles or a front window. It wasn't a major problem for one night.

I have stayed here a few times over the past number of years. The room is a little small but is cozy and very clean, the bed is comfortable. Rooms have a TV, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, iron, small refrigerator, etc.. Breakfast is good, it is a continental style which you order the night before. You either have it delivered to your room or you can pick it up.

The location was perfect, and Jane, the owner, was pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and equipped with a fridge, toaster, and microwave, along with condiments on a small dinner table! Our breakfast order with fresh, hot coffee was efficiently set out on a tray to pick up in the morning.

The shower was very small for my 6'2" husband who has broad shoulders.

The breakfast was adequate, but it had to be ordered the night before, picked up at the office and taken back to your room for consumption. Not a great hardship, but my wife and I have always enjoyed breakfast in a designated area with more selection. Other than that, the stay was excellent. Additionally, the bath was quite slippery, but a non-slip mat was provided.

Interesting way of serving breakfast. There is no dining room. You fill out your breakfast order via a link and the staff has it ready for you at the breakfast time you choose. The selection is basic. Bagels, raisin bread, yogurt, cold hard boiled eggs, cereal, orange/apple juice, coffee/tea. No hot foods (eggs, sausage, bacon, waffles, pancakes).
