The location is stunning, the restaurant is really good with lovely food and staff. There are great views across the water , an outdoor patio and seats on the lawns and outside rooms. We were in a block away from the main building, which was really nice with great views.

We couldn't get a WiFi signal in the block unless we went outside or to the main part of the hotel. WiFi may not be essential but we were on a road trip around NS and it is very useful to be able to plan routes etc. There were no facilities for tea and coffee in the room and no fridge. Tea and coffee can be purchased but you don't want to go to the main building having just woken up, you need it in your room, I think it should be provided free. We stayed in 8 hotels/inns during our 3 week trip and this was the only one which didn't have room facilities. All not essential but make for a better stay.

We had the pleasure of returning to this unique place after visiting five years ago, and it was just as wonderful as we remembered. The lovely hosts, Dave and Ann Marie, made our stay incredibly enjoyable. As a bonus, we were lucky enough to witness the Northern Lights during our visit, which was an unforgettable experience. We highly recommend this place—it’s more than just a recommendation; it’s a must-see if you’re in the area!

This is an off-the-beaten track location but it is simply magnificent. There is a small beach a 5 min. walk from the property, one can also visit a port nearby; the village is within a walking distance as well. The accommodation and its settings are so beautiful, one can sit and spot an otter in the water or can enjoy a short hike around the amenities. It is such a peaceful location and it feels that the stay here is almost like a dream, on a sunny day, the place almost feels like a paradise. The local restaurant also offers delicious food, both for breakfast and lunch, the Staff are lovely and very welcoming, we managed to get a kettle and mugs to our room after we asked.

Ann Marie was so friendly, helpful n informative when we arrived at 715p. She got us a dinner reservation for 8p n provided special parking for my bike. The restaurant staff at dinner n breakfast were friendly n attentive, even coming out on the deck to offer us coffee while we were waiting for breakfast. Room 6 The Captain's Quarters was a very comfortable n cozy room with an awesome view of the harbour. We highly recommend staying here for at least one night.

The chef was very accommodating. He would give chef Ramsey a run for his money. The food was exceptional .Breakfast was wonderful I had the eggs benedict and it was to die for. I liked all of it and would actually think of moving in the area.

That I had to leave and not stay longer !!!!!!!!!!!! It was like being in a home away from home, the owner is also a great guide she gave us basically the places that are SOOO worth seeing and learning about

Rooms were comfy and clean, food was amazing in the restaurant and the little personal touches of coffee in the comfy area were lovely. Area is so beautiful even when the weather is poor.

The wifi was pretty much non existent in the lodges, it was nice to be off grid, but still worrying if our older parents needed to get in touch with us in an emergency.

The friendliness and care of the management and staff. Meals were really lovely.

A coffee/tea facility as normally supplied at motels/hotels/inns would have been appreciated. The refrigerator did not have a freezer section - inconvenient for those who may be touring with coolers that require ice packs to be kept frozen. The sound proofing to the unit above was not very effective.

We arrived to the breathtaking property of Seawind Landing and were immediately in awe. The property is beautiful. The views are breathtaking. Check in was easy. The room was fresh and clean with a beautiful view. The grounds of Seawind Landing are well groomed with grassy paths though the trees. We found our way to a secluded beach area. Dinner was extraordinary and very well-priced considering the location. Coffee was available at 7am as promised and breakfast was delicious. It is well-worth the visit.

Beautiful country inn…quiet and relaxing. Room was nicely decorated and very clean. Had a bath tub jacuzzi. Restaurant with high quality menu was on the property run by the owners of the inn. Such a pretty view of the water!

Room was on the small side, terrible wifi (remember to bring a book!) and bed was creaky and uncomfortable for us. Also seemed to be a long way from other services.

Very friendly owners and staff. Terrific location and very quiet. Food was excellent for dinner and breakfast. Lovely dog in charge.

Sadly the weather was foggy so we could not really appreciate the setting. No fault of the hotel! We would have liked tea and coffee facilities in the room.
