On site restaurant was excellent, with courteous service and reasonably priced. Older property in need of some TLC but it does appear some renovations are happening. Given the reasonable rate, one can easily forgive that. It was a clean and comfortable for a place to lay our heads for our one night stay.

Relatively early close for check in desk. We had hoped to stay later in Lunenburg before driving to Liverpool, but must be checked in by 8 pm. The food in the on site restaurant made up for foregoing supper in Lunenburg. Lamb shank was perfectly cooked and reasonably priced. Beet salad nicely done!

The bed was fantastic. The room was nicer than expected. Views were great. Staff were very nice. Wifi was very good.

It wasn't the properties fault, but there were heavy smokers next-door, who were outside smoking and talking loudly for what felt like half the night. The bathroom was pretty dated and not super attractive. But it was clean.

I did not have breakfast. I did not know they had breakfast. No one said anything. I did eat dinner at the restaurant and had the best meal of my trip, haddock with pesto, yummy.

A better desk chair to sit at the table to use my computer. Of course the four differnt hotel at four different locations all had bad chairs, springs worn out. Had to put a pillow on the chair.

There was no breakfast. The new owners eliminated breakfast. We found a local breakfast place called "Memories", which we highly recommend. It's across the bridge, about 100yards from the hotel.

The wraparound deck needs new flooring. The original deck boards were removed, leaving bare plywood exposed. This greatly detracts from the beauty of this magnificent old building

The property grounds were very nice. You have a grassy waterfront area with deck chairs. Great for relaxing and having your pre dinner cocktail. The rooms are dated but spacious. They have a microwave and a fridge and a small table for dining.

The floors were a bit sandy could have been swept. The comforters were a rough material not so nice for sensitive skin.

Nice location, liked they had seats to sit outside and relax. Easy to have dinner right there and the gift shop offered a nice variety. Food was good, batter was light.

On the top floor hard to drag all the luggage, room was ok bed was hard and soft at the same time.

The room was spacious and well appointed, I always apreciate USB charging within reach of the bed. Bathroom was tight, but served the purpose. Easy walk across the bridge to a dozen or so nice restaurants.
