Nice staff. Good breakfast! Quiet location

Room and bathroom looked clean and well organized. The only thing was the unpleasant smell when we first entered the room. It partially got better after we opened the window. We also were pleasantly surprised when the room was cleaned the next day we arrived. We were sure the room service would not apply to us as we had only 2 nights stay. Thank you

The breakfast included hot items which was a nice surprise. The hotel has two dollies - that was a huge help as both our rooms were on the ground floor. Rooms were spacious.

There was no instruction manual for the microwave and the font desk had no idea how to run it. I had to search on-line to find out how to use the non-intuituve or standard front panel buttons,

Amazing location by the lake. Our window looked out to the trees and we got to see deer right out our window. Building secured with cameras. Pet friendly. Breakfast was better quality than we expected. Would stay here again and would recommend to a friend.

Carpets had a couple stains and room was a bit damp until we opened a window and put on the air conditioner. Expected for a pet friendly hotel. Didn’t affect our stay.

Breakfast was good. Wish there was a couple more options to choose from, but overall still walked away full and satisfied. We also enjoyed that Tunnel Island was only a 5 min walk from our hotel and Casey's restaurant was next door, and that restaurant was amazing. Best bartender/server was Malcolm.

The beds were a little uncomfortable. A bit too firm for us and not enough pillows.

Staff friendly and helpful. Great breakfast, laundry facilities available. Good lo cation in town. Even received a Christmas stocking and fresh baked cookies 🍪. Would stay again. Visiting from St. Catharines. Ontario.

Aging carpet in room but clean . Prefer vinyl flooring or laminate.

I like the location of the stay close to most needed things. There was plenty of selections for hot breakfast in the am. Rooms were quiet and comfortable. Felt rested and relaxed from highway travel. The front desk folks are awesome. My room was very clean and the bedding simple. Room temperature good on 70 and simple to use. Blueberry Jam a plus and fresh fruits. 5am start at brekkie awesome to because of the time changes for travel

For some reason my hand shower gizmo would not attach square to the holder...so trying to stand under the shower stream was not going to happen. So just wash with the wand. There were 3 yellow lights and 1 blue light in the washroom which I found odd and funny. There was no clean remote program but I mentioned it to the front desk and left a personal note for the manager. Kenora is a tourist spot so good to know about it

The motel is not on a major trffic route. Which made for a nice quiet location. The staff was very heplful. Breakfast was good. The room was clean , thou it was showing wear. Internet was excellent.

For the quality of this motel. it is very expensive. Compared to all the other motels of the same quality that we stayed at on this trip. It was a long way for the main highway, which made it a little difficult to find.

Very clean and inviting , I was very pleased with how clean the room was and the staff were great , helped us out sending emails , went the extra mile .

The only thing was the doors leave a big gap when they close so outside light and noise from the hall would come through the door easily .

Thankful that our request for a ground floor room was met as there is no elevator. Bed was comfortable to sleep in.

Annoyingly, the mattress kept slipping off the bed base when you sat on it.

Breakfast was excellent and with variety of choices, staff are so friendly and very helpful,room are so clean and i saw how they clean the room when we are passing by and they clean every corner of the room even the wall trust me lol,we’ve been in all hotel in town of kenora and super 8 was the best i don’t usually comment but i guess they deserve this.
