Rooms are very comfortable.

Our room overlooked the most gorgeous pool area. We put on our bathing suits so eager to jump in and the lounge. It took us 10 minutes to figure out how to get to this pool. No signs. Staff weren’t even sure. We finally thought yo go into the spa since it seemed it was behind it. We found out you have to pay $60 to go in the pool!!!! I said oh well, we have a spa service booked tomorrow so I’m sure it’s included with our service and they said no. Even if you pay $300 for a massage, you still need to pay $60. This is unacceptable. Also, it was a bit of a trek to get to our room. All the buildings looks like your at a college campus. Not so warm and welcoming.

It was well located. We could walk to all restaurants in art galleries. The staff are very helpful. We were in one of the smaller rooms, but it was very smartly laid out. The pool was nice, but was consistently busy with young families (not a complaint, just an observation) so maybe not quite as relaxing as I’d hope. The ground were nice. The food at the restaurant on the main floor was quite nice.

No major complaints. The curtains in our room had some odd stains on them. There was a dirty glass left on the patio from the previous guests. A lot of flies everywhere (just the time of year). There was a lot of spiders in the corners of our room.

Very stylish, comfortable and well designed. Excellent bed and bedding. Very clean.

Some information about the facilities on arrival would have been helpful. Didn’t know the pool was closing on day of arrival for season. Shame as it was a lovely pool. Am glad we booked a room in the main building. Some of the other buildings seemed a little reminiscent of a college campus although can’t comment on the rooms. Dinner in brasserie was average. Service a bit perfunctory.

Always the checkin and checkout process came with a bitter taste. They do not give you all the information and they treat you as if you were inferior. Not all them… but most of them. On the contrary the people working in the restaurants are really really friendly.

The room was ready when we arrived, it was very clean, quiet. The food is excellent and the servers were able to recommend the appropriate meals the allergy without having to go back and verified with the chef. The location of this property is minutes from the city center and hiking trails.

The only negative comment about this hotel is the bathtub and the shower. For someone with mobility issues the height of the bath is a major problem. Also because of the plumbing setup it is impossible to completely close the curtain and water leak on the floor which create the potential for someone to slip and hurt themselves .

The front staff made a weird comment when he saw that we booked through Booking.com. He then tried to convince us to take a breakfast booking 15 min later than the requested time (and insinuated that the requested time was booked up), only for us to find out that the restaurant was completely empty that morning. The spa is cheaper if you book your stay through their website, than if you book through booking and request the spa separately.

Location and service were top quality

Room located over restaurant was noisy during the , prep time , opening hours , and closing . Chairs on wooden floors at Le Labours restaurant made too much noise. Some felt or other material to eliminate the noise when moving chairs and tables is a must.

needed more lighting in the room. No dimmers in the bedroom area to have bright light but then dim if spouse is sleeping.

Spa did not have multiple showerheads in the mens and womens to shower and enjoy more the spa experience. it was just one head like a gym shower.

Very clean slightly quirky property , originally a farm and now ultra modern design but with highland cattle to remind you of its beginnings! Very good food and spa. Nice walks including in to town. The Charlevoix region train stops right outside in high season so you can explore along the river. Wish we had booked for longer.

Long walk from parking, then the lobby, and several flights of stairs up and down to get to the Gare. One side of the lobby doors has no handicap buttons. The staff was very slow and didn't introduce the amenities at all.
