The hotel was located on the beach and near the city centre. The room was clean and spacious. We were on the garden side, so there was a little park for the kids. We had a parking space in front of the room, so it was easy to pack and unpack the luggage. The breakfast at the restaurant was good and affordable. The hotel and restaurant staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is located on a little back road, so you don't hear the traffic of the main road. I highly recommend!

The dinner at the restaurant was pricy and not as good as the breakfast.

Very nice view on the beach. Bed comfortable and bathroom well equipped with copious towels etc. Quiet road (not on the main road). Breakfast buffet with fresh and varied selection. Very nice staff.

Wifi connection in the room was terrible (better in other parts of the hotel). Very limited space for luggage (we were 4 persons in the room).

The hotel was on a beach with pebbles on the St Lawrence River. Because the weather was overcast and it was drizzling, I thought the atmosphere of this hotel was very cozy. Nice flowers in front of the rooms and very cozy main lobby and dining room. Excellent breakfast buffet. We didn’t have dinner there but I heard they had great seafood. The staff was very professional and welcoming. They were happy to chat with us. Both evening and morning receptionists were super nice and helpful. The rooms were small though functional. We were facing the beach. We Iiked the fact we were able to store food and picnic in our rooms.

We had a small terrace and the insulation in our room was so-so ( padded leather doors). That requires to be mindful of the hosts next door. Our neighbors were loud and not mindful.

The location is great. Perfect view and close to all the facilities. Walking along the beach in the night breeze is really a great experience.

The room is hot but there is no AC. I have to keep both the entry door and the patio door open to cool down the room. I really wish there is screen at the entry door which can block the flies and mosquitos. There is a window in the washroom, but it is too small. Suggest the staffs to keep the patio door and the small window in the washroom open before the clients checking in. The air flow could help to keep the room cool.

The place was beautiful. When driving in off the main road it felt like we were driving into a resort. The rooms are beautiful and large. The beach is accessible from any room. We stayed in the garden view drive up rooms and we walked to the beach in 2 minutes. Friendly staff!

I wish that their had of been air conditioning. The night we stayed there it was extremely hot out. The room wasn't unbearable but ac would have been nice

The property was very well located, close to the ferry with a beautiful beach by the Saint-Laurent estuary. Our room was located close to a little terrace with chairs & tables where we were able to eat sheltered from the wind. The location was a short drive away from Matane’s lighthouse and downtown, which was fun to visit. The room had an old motel charm, but don’t expect anything fancy or modern!

The beds were quite hard.

This hotel is like your old slippers...a bit worn but very comfortable. The rooms were a generous size and the view from the balcony was great. Breakfast in the dining room was worth the cost. It had a very Old World feel.

Some of the carpets are a bit worn but that may be part of the charm of the place. There were not enough electrical outlets readily accessible.

the property was nice and clean. fresh coat and of paint, lots of furniture in the room to be comfortable. the TV was working and fairly new. nice furniture outside to relax. amazing staff.

the kitchen was closed as it was low season. a microwave in the room would be an amazing addition to make the stay easier with a family with child/ children. An A/C would be nice for warmer days.

It was so close to the St. Lawrence! we enjoyed watching the sunset along the water’s edge. Parking in front of our unit made it super easy to load and unload. The grassed area near our room made it east to take our dog out. Location was great to the town amenities including restaurants and stores.

Just the timing- we were too early for the restaurant. It doesn’t open for another week.

It was a buffet and it was great. Lots of selection. Very fresh and fulfilling. The view in the dining room is amazing. Watching the ships pass by was very nice.

I couldn’t really find anything that I was not satisfied with.
