The rooms on the 3rd, 4th, and 5th floors offer a magnificent view of the Saint Laurent River, (complete with balconies). The rooms are spotless, well-presented, and well-equipped. Bathroom, towels, and bed linens were very clean :) The pool is great for families, and there’s also a sauna. For fans of Scandinavian baths, you can even leave the sauna and take a dip in the cold waters of the Fleuve Saint Laurent 🔥❄️ The staff at the CARGO restaurant were pleasant and efficient. A special mention to the waitress, France, who was an absolute sweetheart 🫶🏽 Merci

The only drawback is the check-in process and room service (where we experienced a 45-minute waiting on the phone). Unfortunately, there was only one staff member managing both phone calls and tourists checking in. RIOTEL should consider having two or more receptionists during peak hours.

Very nice facilities. Restaurant and bar area are very nice. The lounge area is a nice place to enjoy a beverage. The staff in every area are very friendly and helpful. The room was nice, roomy, water view, very comfortable bed. Open the window to enjoy the sound of the water lapping on shore. A balcony room would have been even better. Outdoor seating area on the beach was a nice place to enjoy morning coffee. Ask about an evening fire. Breakfast was very nice and the service friendly. Definitely recommend

Only negative was the rule of not putting water on the stones in the sauna. Takes quite awhile to break a sweat.

Very nice location with views to the St Laurent. Nice sauna and pool with views. You can swim in the St Laurent and then come back in and warm up ;-) 24/7 reception which was great as we arrived very late due to a ferry strike

Hot tub was broken (already for quite some time) - would have been great after swimming in the St Laurent

The water view upon entering the hotel was beautiful and welcoming. I also liked that the staff did not switch to English when they heard my terrible French. They let me muddle through and we figured out a way to understand each other. They also switched my room when four families arrived in rooms opposite me, propped their doors open, and proceeded to scream and yell between the rooms. After one hour, I couldn't take the constant screaming and yelling so went to the front desk and asked for a room on a different floor. I was happy that they agreed to move me. The room they moved me to was lovely. It wasn't big but had everything laid out perfectly. A table, a desk, a small closet, super comfy bed, fridge, counter space in the bathroom...etc. It was a really lovely room.

This is a mix because it wasn't the hotel's fault. I loved that there were no carpets in the hall or rooms on the 1st floor where I was originally, but it meant that the screaming of the children running back and forth between rooms, and the parents yelling, was amplified. Maybe that section (1st floor) could be reserved for families so that they can freely do what these four families did without bothering people. Also, the person who switched rooms for me did so, but made it clear she wasn't happy. Either say you can't switch rooms or don't try to make the person feel guilty for asking. But at least she made the change.

The air conditioning wasn’t working in our room making it uncomfortably warm during day & humid at night. We had to leave our patio door open to keep it cool during the day & comfortable at night. When discussed with the front desk they didn’t have another room available. The next day we were told that the a/c wasn’t working on the entire floor & someone was coming to fix it that day. However it never worked the next day but the weather cooled down so it wasn’t an issue that evening.

Nice beach with beautiful sunset. A good place to spend time with family. Swimming pool is small but enough for kids. Gym center faces beach with good view of ocean - good experience and will come back again but wants to get room with balcony.

Staffs if can be more helpful and proactive in helping will be perfect.

We stayed here last September and really enjoyed it. The location is great being right on the water. The bar and dining room are very good. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

My only comment would be is that the pillows were too firm.

We were just passing through off the ferry and expected a Travelodge, having not used a Riotel before, but were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hotel and the welcome, at a very good price. We were able to enjoy the sunset by a firepit on the beach with a good beer, and use the pool. In the morning we had a very good home cooked breakfast. The room itself was comfortable with good facilities. The staff were all friendly and accommodating.

Staff was awesome . Place is clean and the restaurant took an order for a pizza just as they were getting ready to close !

Nothing .. well the pool should be 24 hour service . So ppl who get in late can go for a soak and relax after a long day of travelling

The hotel has an extraordinary location right on the ocean. We slept with the sliding door open listening to pounding surf. It's truly a beach front property. Restaurant had great food and views.

Room is a bit dated. There was no A/C but the hotel provided a fan that we used which worked but I would not choose this hotel in a heat wave.
