I love that it has many amenities. However, I think that when we went there, there weren’t many activities for adults. Nevertheless, the mountain biking, curling pool, spa, and sitting in front of the big fireplace with a drink to relax were great.

I was disappointed with the room I got because it had a view but was quite old. The carpet was peeling off, and the bathroom was in bad condition. I understand that old doesn't necessarily mean ugly, but the room wasn't well maintained. Additionally, there was a strange modern gazebo outside the main restaurant. Although it's probably meant for summer, it clashed with the overall view and ambiance of the place. Despite these issues, I must admit that the surrounding area and the exterior of the building were beautiful.

The grounds are beautiful and easily accessible. The meals were very well prepared and extremely enjoyable. The staff were also very friendly and helpful

We recognize that it is important to retain the character of this majestic, magical hotel. However, there are definitely some features (in the rooms) that should be improved. ALSO, I was very disappointed to find a charge of $38 for "amenities" (I think that was the word used) - if the charge is standard for every room, then the hotel should "come clean" and simply add it to the "room charge"!

Location by the river and close to Parc Omega. The structure itself built in the great depression is built from redwoods. The central focus is around 6 central fireplaces where there are plenty of sofas to relax and have a coffee or drinks on the lower floor. The bedroom and bed were comfortable. Bathroom functional but dated. I enjoyed the curling and history tour provided by the hotel.

I had one meal in the restaurant that I didn't really enjoy so ate in local restaurants. A charge on top of your room bill for pool parking etc of $38 is added to your bill per day. Also 15% tax on top of your whole bill is added . Canadians might expect this !

The grandeur and beauty of the lobby using log construction is absolutely striking. This unique construction is a jewel in our Canadian heritage.

Price is steep. We could only afford one night ...a very exceptional splurge. Hard to think of anything we didn't like. I'm sure that it is a challenge to maintain these historic wooden structures and large grounds. There were some signs of the on-going battle against aging. A Small thing - the parking lot could be resurfaced.

The grounds were spectacular! 🤩 Loved the trails and the herb garden. Landscaping phenomenal! The fire pits were lovely. The kids that were around the fire got marshmallows from the front desk to roast. The fireflies added to the atmosphere. Sitting at the pool you could face the pool and have the river behind you or vice versa.😎

Bathroom was a little tight but well equipped. The backlighting on the mirror did not work but the makeup mirror had light.

We enjoyed the Chateau immensely....Everything was great....The breakfast buffet was fabulous , but we found it a bit Pricey...The serving staff were all AMAZING...very friendly and effecient...The rooms were lovely and clean and housekeeping staff very helpful....It is our second time staying at the Chateau...both times were great...The grounds and walking trails were also fabulous...Thank you

The morning buffet was a little pricey, but very good

It was stunning, but in a very rustic, Canadiana way. Which made it a perfect choice for the Canada Day long weekend. The grounds were well kept, the structures themselves are amazing. Like a log cabin castle. The rooms are small but that feels authentic to the era of the hotel. The 1920s charm is captivating.

The restaurants/service were amazing, but one thing we did wish, was that there was a small café or pub to buy food for the family that wasn’t a 5-star meal. Don’t get me wrong: we thoroughly enjoyed the BBQ prix-fixe on the terrace - it was fantastic, but the following night, we just wanted something small and quick and had to head back into town to avoid a full-blown formal dinner.

Very big room with good wifi connection. Free parking if you do self-parking. Good breakfast and dinner buffets, although quite pricey, as always in Quebec. The lobby is really impressive with its 6 fireplaces and huge volume. Interesting wood architecture with a roof culminating at 25 meters. The hotel is ideally located along the Outaouais river, in a very large parc with old trees. Charming, even in the winter months. The Omega Park with its dozens of wild animals walking free around the cars is just 5 minutes away from the hotel.

Due to the fact that the building has been constructed in the 1930's, we heard very much the steps of the people in the room upstairs. Many clients walking in the corridor along the room were talking very loud, so you could think they were actually in the room. The price of our stay was 500 $ per day for 2 people (room + breakfast + dinner buffet). Plan your budget well.

helpful, courteous staff. beautiful setting, lots of outdoor seating by the river, gorgeous Art Deco indoor pool. very interesting manoir next door, lovely walking trails and close to the pretty village of Montebello.

no paper or pens in the bedroom. only one jacuzzi working in the indoor swimming pool. guests shouldn’t automatically have to pay a daily activities surcharge -it should be levied only when the activities are used. it is not clearly stated and unfair for those people who only use the indoor pool which has always been included in the room rate. We do not own a car and it would have been good to have a shuttle bus to Masson to catch a bus-there must be other guests who need public transport to get to the hotel in this day and age.

Beautiful interior. Stunning center fireplace with lots of cozy seating around the fireplaces.

It would have been nice to have more servers coming around as we were seating near the fireplaces and ask if we needed anything from the bar. Also they were very slow to fill the fireplace back up which is an important part of the atmosphere.
