The room and facilities were very well planned and designed and the premises were spotless. We stayed in a room with 2 queen beds and it felt very spacious. The bed was firm but comfortable. There was a roomy mini-fridge with a freezer section and there was also a capsule-type coffee maker. The staff was pleasant. The internet worked. The motel is attached to a St. Hubert so it is nice and easy to either eat in the restaurant or get take-out. There is a large grassy area for dogs.

We did expect that by July 2 the swimming pool would be open but it wasn't. The breakfast was very simple and easy to take away but mostly cold (toast, muffins, yogourt, cereal, cold hard-boiled eggs, coffee, juice). It would have been nice to have something hot like scrambled eggs. Another thing that might have been nice to have is a microwave in the room - to reheat coffee, or left-over chicken from St. Hubert, etc.

The cleanliness, staff, pricing and proximity to everything we needed. Loved the sink section outside the water closet. Didn't hear any noise from the other rooms and got to watch the Explora channel! Cute little fridge and great coffee machine. Loved the outlets on the base of the lamps! If we ever got to come back, we'll go back there for sure!

No designated area for dogs or none was mentionned, couldn't close the door to the water closet if already sitting on the toilet, and if not closed, the door handle is straight in your face. The room was too warm or too cold while in bed, it changed many times in the night (we never touched the temperature meter) making it difficult to sleep. Not many choices for breakfast and no bottle opener in the room (but one was lent to us by the friendly trilingual receptionist that was there). Although, none of that made us dislike our stay, these are just elements we noticed.

Great location right off of the highway. We arrived late, around 9:30, and the staff had us checked in quickly. The mattress was quite hard, which I enjoyed, however some may find it too hard. Montmagny is quite a cute little town along the river. We'll be back in the daylight to experience more.

Breakfast was disappointing. We had the juice and the coffee, however declined the muffins, toast, yoghurt and boiled eggs. A waffle machine or some other hot food would have been a little more desireable. We don't usually do hotel breakfasts though, so it wasn't a great loss.

The location is right off the highway. Ample free parking. The interior appears to be newly renovated. The room we had was 2nd floor of the main building. (There is no elevator.) It was spotless! The bathroom actually sparkled. Everything was fresh and spacious. High ceilings. Everything in the room worked. The outdoor pool and patio area was nice. It was 82 degrees. The breakfast is a basic station. Drinks/Muffins/Toast/Yogurt. A St.Hubert is attached to the hotel.. For a 2 star hotel this was an excellent value and a great choice. Very clean and well maintained, we were pleasantly surprised the reviews we read were true!

The breakfast was a continental style and it had various options to choose from. It was a good start to the day and it saved time looking for a restaurant to eat at. The location was perfect. It was right off the highway and easy to find. It had St Hubert right beside it which was perfect after a long day of travel. The staff were amazing and one went above their front desk obligations. After dinner we wanted a tea. The wonderful front desk staffer went and made us a tea each. Such a great place.

The pillows on the bed. There were 3 on my bed and they were all hard. Maybe have them with various softness, then the customer can choose the one they like to use. That’s the only thing I can think of.

Easy access from the highway and it’s almost halfway to our destination from our home

The price- Tuesday it was 129.71 and staff was there to greet people and had everything ready for us. Saturday we paid 201.12 We didn’t receive anything extra. There was no staff on arrival to greet anyone waiting to register .The person in front of us had same room that was cheaper than Bookings.com.that I paid. Not impressed!

Convenient location, friendly staff, nice room with good facilities.

The pool, which was the main reason that we booked this hotel, was not functional. Guests should be notified in advance in such situations so that they can cancel their reservation if they wish. To be clear, this was not a last-minute occurrence. The pool had obviously not been opened yet for the season (as of July 2).

Yes, very comfortable beds! I slept really well for over eight hours. That is great when I'm on vacation, as it almost never happens in everyday life. The room was spacious and warm and very nicely appointed. The free breakfast was continental style, with toast and jam, boiled eggs, fruit cups, yogurt, cereal, and brewed coffee. Some fresh fruit would have been nice. I liked the fact that the rooms were accessible from inside and from outside.

Lighting; beds were fine. Staff very friendly.. Bilingual great. Very clean super important

Neighbour had tv on loud for hours late at night. I would have liked a bagel or bacon and scrambled eggs for breakfast. Charging 10.00 extra dollars to be on first floor was quite strange. I can barely walk hall let alone stairs. First time I've heard of that. A handicap handhold would be fabulous by toilet.

Elevator to second floor. Was advised we could not have ground floor room because we booked on line. Disappointed that we were given second floor room furthest from stairs. Although not fully booked we’re not offered alternate room in spite of the fact tat I have mobility issues due to hip replacement in both hips, triple bypass surgery and lung issues..
