We had the pleasure of staying at this charming manoir just outside of Quebec City, and it was the perfect way to end our day. After exploring the historic streets and vibrant atmosphere of the city, we wanted a peaceful retreat not too far away—and this place exceeded all expectations. Tucked away in the quaint town of Saint-Raymond, this property is truly a hidden gem. The surroundings were beautiful, with the peaceful lake and lush outdoors creating a relaxing, cottage-like atmosphere. It felt like a true escape into nature. Although our stay was short and we didn’t have time to enjoy the breakfast or take a dip in the lake, everything else about our visit was flawless. The host was incredibly thoughtful and helpful, providing clear check-in instructions and making the whole process seamless. We highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a quiet getaway near Quebec City. We’re already planning to return and spend more time soaking in everything the area has to offer. One small thing to note: the walls are a bit thin, and we could hear some conversations from neighboring rooms. However, it didn’t bother us and didn’t take away from the overall experience.

- Great location right in front of the lake. There is a small building being built in front of it but it won't impact the views much. - The decorations and overall vibes are great. Loved the design of the rooms and common areas. - Owner is hospitable and extremely nice. He enjoys running the place and it impacts the stay in a very positive way. - Super clean - We were upgraded to a better room because the better room was not booked. I thought that was very generous and thoughtful of the owner.

Kayaking and paddleboarding on the lake was awesome . The staff was awesome. Most friendly person I have ever encountered. There was no EV charger but the guy helped us plugging in the car into a regular outlet which overnight charged the car for about 30% which was helpful for the rest of the journey

I wish there were fridges in the room. There was only one in the hallway for the entire hotel

Beautiful setting on lakefront. , Mini kitchen at secluded end of hallway ( fridge- microwave- espresso machine -dishes, cutlery and wine glasses etc for storing and preparing late night-/ early morning snacks.. Comfortable bed. Beautifully decorated bathroom . Delicious breakfast with lake view. Excellent personalized service.

Everything was great. Extremely clean, plentiful breakfast (a paid option), good location, excellent service. I would stay here again if I came back to ride on the near by long bike trail.

Beautiful location and house it’s just on the lake and has kayaks available for free. We did a great paddle tour round the islands. The owner is super nice and he also gave us great tips for things to do in the area. All perfect really

the location is very good you have a small private beach for you and uou can take a pedalo for free. the owner of the property is amazing soooo generous, he talk to us like an hour telling stories and answering our questions. it was a great experience.

Guillaume was an amazing host who whole-heartedly welcomed us in his beautiful, picturesque manoir. The lakeview at sunrise was absolutely breathtaking. Breakfast was great and lake facilities very enjoyable. Would love to visit again!
