this motel is neither a "boutique" nor " beautiful" as two other reviews erroneously described it. What it is is great value for the price. While the decor was dated ( not a top concern in roadside motel), it was a large, clean room and the beds were comfortable with very nice linens . I appreciated the Kuerig coffee maker in the hallway rather that the usual terrible tiny coffee machines offered in most motel rooms and the parking right up to the door of the room, which is handy. We did not meet any staff as we booked online about 30 minutes before we arrived on late on Easter Sunday, but the manager sent us a numbered code to access the room- all very efficient and seamless

like all motels- better lighting is needed in rooms and get rid of carpet of carpeting in room as soon as your budget allows.

Delightful, quaint motel. Great to be able to park right outside of our room. Facility was very clean and beds were super comfortable! For less than $100 (including tax), we consider Widus Inn to be a great deal! Owner was super helpful and friendly - very accommodating! Would definitely consider staying there again if we are just passing through.

It could use some upgrading but it was very clean and enjoyable.

I've stayed here a few times before, and the main reason that I return is the property manager treats me with the utmost in respect and courtesy. The building is old, but very clean, and the location is excellent, being just a half block away from Tim Horton's, which is also an excellent business there in Swift Current. We actually stayed another night on our return trip, and he called me to confirm that we'd be there that evening. We were invited back anytime to stay at The Widus Inn, and we definitely will do that! Very pleasant experience it was.

I really couldn't have asked for more, honestly. Only that my wife now needs an accessible room, but I don't believe this is available at this location, so I help her as much as I can, mostly with bathroom routines. We travelled to Florida in 2008 by automobile, and stayed in numerous hotels along the way, so I'm very familiar with the hospitality industry throughout North America, and really can't fault this Widus Inn.

James at the front desk was very friendly and accommodating. Quick check in. Rooms are older and a bit dated but very clean, quiet and comfortable. Coffee in the hallway was a welcome touch. Price is very reasonable in this day and age. A welcome place for budget minded travellers especially those of us on a fixed income.

Nothing. Some people will pick the tiniest things apart about just about anything so if a review is critical about the Widus Inn then keep that in mind.

Property was great value for the budget minded. Facilities are older but room was clean comfortable and quiet and the staff friendly. Room had regular TV plus Roku channels, microwave and fridge with small freezer. Coffee, tea, water and ice available in the hallway and a small indoor putting green. Parking is right out your door, all rooms at ground level. Perfect for the traveler that doesn't need all the frills. There's a Tim's next door, many restaurants within a 2 minute drive and plenty of gas stations. Easy access to main highways in all directions.

If you're not fussy about a little bit of chipped paint there is absolutely nothing to complain about for the price.

Having direct access to good coffee and water as well as a great mattress! The fellow at reception was super friendly and helpful. The room was everything we needed for a quick overnight stay.

The washroom could use some freshning up and some ice would be good too. There was a freezer in the hall by the coffee but it didn't have any signs so I felt uncomfortable opening it.

The location is easy to find. beds were comfortable. the room was nice and we enjoyed our stay. when we were outside, the owner was taking his dog for a walk so we had a chance to talk to him the dog wanted to be petted, i think the dog could have sat there all day, if we petted him. all was good, and will be staying in the future, when we travel that way.

Great value. Has block heater plug ins for the cold nights at edge of sidewalk instead of wall. So don’t need a long cord or worry that someone will trip over it

Shared coffee station is in the center hallway. Had to look to find the cups and pods. Water was empty so had to go back to room to refill. Amenities are a bit lacking if you stay here all day but for after a hard day’s work it meets the requirements.

The sign could be bigger and the building needs some renovations but the room was exceptional. Staff went out of their way to be friendly and so did the person doing the renovations. Nice furniture, all appliances including iron and blow dryer Much better than places at twice the price. Need to use coffee machine in corridor but you can practice golf putting while coffee brews.

This hotel is like the Ibis hotels in Europe and other countries. It offers clean, affordable, comfortable stays for budget minded travelers. The rooms are spacious and attractive without unnecessary decor. There are lots of electrical outlets and sufficient lighting. It was quiet . The manager was most responsive. The price was very good.
