Very friendly staff, professional and helpful. The food was great and our appreciation for the cleaning guy who was respectful and kept the room perfect. The manager was also amazingly helpful when we needed food at the restaurant, and though apparently we could not be served for the schedule of service they had, she kept us from leaving to another restaurant and provide us with excellent food! Thank you again. Great service.

There was a bit of struggle with the lighting at the pool, nothing really huge, but perhaps dealing with it could be good. That said. Everything was fantastic!

Very nice hotel for our stop over between Arequipa and San Pedro de Atacama. Very comfy rooms-we upgraded to a front seat view which was very nice to wake up to. Lovely swimming pool and nice staff. The restaurant was good and they tried really hard to accommodate my coeliac diet with mixed results-our last meal made me unwell unfortunately on my overnight bus. Not a great experience!

The town feels pretty down at heel and we attempted to walk along the beach into town but it didn’t really feel safe so we had to cab everywhere. The beach was covered in rubbish from the river flowing through town carrying an unusual amount of water and rubbish along with it. They were trying to tidy it-such a shame as the beach is a sweeping sandy bay and quite lovely.

I had a very good experience at Novotel Arica. We arrived late in the evening but the next stay we leave from Arica at 22:00, but we have the permission to stay at the swimming pool area after check out until our leaving from Arica. I had a good rest, comfortable bed, nice view and excellent walking shower. The staff was very helpful instead we tried to pay with 4 debit cards, only the credit card works. Seems to be rule for the hotels in Chile to accept only credit cards. In Santiago had to make a deposit of 20 usd for the payment of debit card.

The coffee was tasty but an expresso would be perfect.

Great new hotel with very attentive staff. The room and especially the bed was great. Location is perfect, close to the beach and nice restaurants. Also the restaurant is great, both for breakfast and lunch/dinner. We were perfectly helped by the reception to arrange some transport (car rental, booking a night bus). I would really recommend to stay here when visiting Arica.

Fabulous hotel. Really warm, friendly and helpful staff. Fine breakfast. Single complaint was a nearby discotheque at weekends, which was not enough to stop us sleeping, but louder than it should be

The disco next door

Great location near the beach. Front desk staff were amazing. Very helpful, attentive, and they gave us a complimentary free late check-out, which was a wonderful surprise, and nice bonus too!

The food at the hotel was a disappointment, as very limited options on the hotel menu too.

Very good deal. The facilities were almost brand new. Very close to the beach and multiple restaurants. The breakfast and coffee machine were fantastic 👌🏻The food could improve though.

I would suggest adding bath tubs to the rooms or, at the very least, add a hot tub with jets and a sauna/steam room close to the pool or anywhere else. There are two instant coffee sachets at the room, and when you use them both, they won’t replenish them, that was not nice. The pool should be climatized a bit more, a couple degrees more would make a strong difference. The gym had a multiple purpose apparatus but it was not working properly. Adding a couple machines more won’t hurt anybody and would fill the emptiness.

Loved Novotel Arica! A beautiful hotel with a nice pool, great restaurant, and gorgeous views situated right next to the beach. The rooms are great (ours had a California King that was super comfortable), the staff were nice and had cool work outfits, and the beach was just steps away. Would highly reccomend!

We got our room at a discounted rate by booking last minute, but I think it's often a bit pricier, but as I mentioned above, it is a great place to stay! It's also out of the centre of Arica, but the beach front area is beautiful and there's enough things to do in that area to make it worthwhile.

Modern, pristine hotel with delightful, cheerful, multi-lingual staff. We paid extra for an ocean view and it was great for sunsets. The bed was really comfortable with crisp white bedding. Great shower with high quality toiletries. The pool was a great temperature for me (not too hot!) and a decent size for lengths. We had the chef's three course lunch for just over 18,000 Chilean soles and it was very tasty. I also had a very good quinoa salad. Drinks prices were no more expensive than the beach side pub. I would choose this hotel again.

The Hotel is right at the beach. A number of Discos/night clubs are close neighbors. However, there is no noise in the hotel room or at most minimal if you are noise sensitive. Parking in front of the hotel is good, but the main parking is a sort of remote and I did not feel safe there. From the room you have a great view on the beach.
