The hotel is located in the hub of the city and very close to the most sophisticated shopping malls. The room was spacious and its design was practical and handy for occupants. Breakfast had a wide variety of exemplary quality Oriental and Western choices. It is worth mentioning that the service of the restaurant staff was remarkable, one of whom Miss Amy WU Yaru was particularly outstanding. She did remember our favourite juice which was not included in the routine menu and automatically served it on our next visit. It however does not undermine the equally high quality service of other staff in various departments. It was a memorable and enjoyable stay overall.

Having traveled extensively around the globe, I can confidently say that Grand Hyatt Chengdu stands out as one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The service here is impeccable—accommodating, courteous, and genuinely friendly. A special shoutout to Zoey Zhang (I hope I got her name right!) and the wonderful lady who helped us with our check-in—your warmth and professionalism left a lasting impression. Our suite was absolutely fantastic—clean, spacious, and thoughtfully prepared with a personal note from the hotel, which we truly appreciated. It’s little touches like these that make a stay memorable. And let’s talk about the location—it’s unbeatable! Nestled in the heart of the city, the hotel is surrounded by a plethora of shops, from local delicacies to luxury brands. It’s incredibly convenient and adds so much to the overall experience.

Upon checked in we were told we are given a free makeover for a photo shoot and able to get 3 free photos free. We truly enjoyed the photo session but left with US300 poorer as we purchased more than the 3 photos given photos. We love the location as it in the shopping belts and eatery. Some shop like Miniso even closed at 2am.

There is a bathtub but no salt nor bubble bath given. I stayed in St. Regis previously that provide butler service via WeChat which I like. The staff over at St. Regis are more helpful with our luggage etc

Very good location, near the Chengdu's central business district of Chunxi Road. The room is nice with city view, clean & moderately spacious for us. The staff at the reception & concierge speaking good English.

There were unpleasant smell outside the room, in the passage between the rooms. Smell like coming from the restaurant. We have to endure the smell every time coming out from the room to the elevator throughout our stay of 4 days 3 nights at the hotel.

Great location, super breakfast, rooms with a view (go as high as you can), bathroom with shower & bathtub, love their Balmain toiletries… worth getting a club room with benefits.

The only thing is confusing concierge service - they are on the ground floor and it was difficult to figure out who is the concierge of the 5-6 people (bell boys) identically dressed and hardly speaking English (reception is on 15th floor with rooms above).

The Supervisor at the Spa is not friendly as we used the coupon at Dianping, but the therapist is professional. We enjoyed the massage.

Location is very convenient, many food choices and shopping areas all within walking distance. Room is spacious and comfortable. Cleaning lady was really nice and friendly, and would check in on us whether we want water or anything on days we request for no cleaning. Hotel breakfast has pretty good selections.

You could only use the free WIFI if you entered your chinese mobile number, which I didn't have. The room service menu was all in chinese so i had to call and try to explain what i wanted

The location is super convenient, close to shopping malls, restaurants and underground station ChunXi Road. The suite is spacious with nice view on high floor.

Too many mirrors concept making the room a bit dizzy and a bit dangerous at night as easily you will lose your way and hit on the wall. Also it is inconvenient to not have toilet in the bathroom.
