The two bedroom apartment was spacious, clean and had all the amenities we wanted. The breakfast buffet was great with a wide variety (both hot & cold) to choose from. The star feature though are the reception staff, who were excellent in terms of helping us with any requests. From helping us order a stroller online to helping us hire a car in another city we were visiting for a day trip. Just genrally helping us navigate a city we were visiting for the firstime, hitch free. Special mention to Queena Li, though all staff were superb. By the end of our stay we didn't want to leave and wished we had booked for longer!

Grand Parkvue would rank at the top of my list in my 14 years of travelling in Australia, Asia, Europe, North and South America. A very comfortable and clean apartment/hotel with kitchen and laundry facilities, close to Jinjiang Hotel metro, connected to Yanlord Landmark mall with a reasonable food court, it is very suitable for long stay (as well as short stay) visitors. More importantly, the staff are exceptional and this flows down from the top. Jason, the general manager (from Singapore) is very personable and he made our stay very comfortable, enjoyable and we certainly had fun playing table tennis with him. The staff are exceptional and most speaks English and some speaks very good English. Mira from the front desk was excellent. She organised a car and driver for us for a day tour and even drop by the hotel on the eve to ensure everything was to our satisfaction even though it was her day off. The lady who cleaned our room was excellent as well. I unfortunately wasn't well for a couple if days and she did everything possible to make sure I was comfortable. Grand Parcvue made all the difference to my stay in Chengdu and I will most certainly stay in Grand Parcvue when I revisit. Chengdu is a very nice place to visit and men, if you want a happy life with a happy wife, take her to Kowloon Plaza and let her shop till she drops.

- Gym…The wide variety of options made it easy for everyone in our family to exercise. - Yoga Room…Excellent quiet space to stretch. - Breakfast…Many choices! As someone with food allergies, I appreciated the signs that clearly stated what food allergens to be aware of in each dish. Also, the chef at the noodle station was very accommodating. - Room…comfortable bed, extremely quiet - even with the road right below. The views were awesome. Our room looked just like the photos. We could easily live there for longer and feel at home. - Helpfulness of staff…all but one person were courteous, kind, and did their best to answer our questions. Customer service was certainly a priority! - Check-In/Check-out…Staff was responsive to questions before we arrived about storing our luggage. On the back end, they were accommodating to help so we could shower before heading to the airport. Everything was super smooth! - Special thanks…Jessica in the restaurant was super gracious and always willing to help translate or ensure that we had what we needed; Lisa at the front desk was helpful in ordering tickets (with amazing seats!) to the theater across the street as well as help us locate stores and nearby shops for items we were looking for; and finally, Dino the door person, who went above and beyond to help us find boxes to pack our personal belongings in.

- Sports Equipment…Pickle Ball court was always reserved. They didn’t have a usable basketball for the court. - Unattended Children…Not a problem or fault of the hotel, however, the unaccompanied children in the men’s sauna/changing room can be a safeguarding issue.

This was the best hotel of the five we have booked in China. The room was very big with lot of huge windows so we had perfect view on the city. Didn't expect it to be so good like that, was very surprised. Not far away, around 30 minutes walk is everything you can see in the city, because the hotel is exactly in the center. We have visited Chengdu because of the pandas, hotel staff helped us to reach the destination, they called the taxi(speak english), but i would recommend it to visit anyway, it is worth seeing and people were especially friendly.

I can't remember that there was anything i could say we didn't like, but only the food in the hotel's restaurant was twice the price comparing to the one in the city, but i suposse that is what you can expect in 5 star hotels. The food was very good, can recommend.

I like the location, the cost, and the amenities. I wasn't expecting such a large room. It was impeccable. I didn't even need any of the luxuries of my room but it sure was nice and comfortable. Location was important to me. I think there are other hotels like the JW Marriot, Crown, maybe another one or two that are in the basic vicinity that would have all worked. I liked that the unit had a washing machine. I was able to do laundry the day before checking out, so no stinky luggage!

I didn't like the checkout experience. It took too long and people behind me jumped the queue. It would have been better to separate the lines for checking in and checking out and have a visible queue. Another issue was not with the hotel itself but my GPS. I couldn't search Hotel Intercontinental on my phone. At least not the location I was staying in. I called a Didi, chose the only location that came up but i was taken to another location. Not even another Hotel Intercontinental. Some other no-name hotel. So I think they need to improve their visibility on various GPS, using their English name, and full name of the location (Chengdu Residences).

I recently stayed at the JinJiang Hotel, and it was a delightful experience. Grand ParcVue was nice, cozy, and clean. The service staff, especially Tina Zhang, were professional, cheerful, and helpful. The hotel went above and beyond to meet my special requests too. I have recommended to my other friends too. The hotel's location is convenient, with a small, arty mall connecting to the hotel lift walkway, though food options were limited like Starbucks, Subway etc. The hotel is just a 5-7 minute walk from JinJiang Hotel Station (Blue Line 1, Exit C2). To get to the metro, take the escalator to Level 2 as shown from the connecting mall, walk through the gallery or event hall, and walk all the way to the end to the exit at L1 near Huawei shop. Just right at the exit you will see a local convenience store (similar to 7-11) 1min walk across towards the metro section. Metro access is easy, making it simple to explore the area. Note that CDF Duty Free is opening soon at L2 in the mall.

The room is not sound proof, i can hear my neighbours from both next doors.

Breakfast spread was very good and the restaurant had nice big windows with good views. Service was excellent. Housekeeping was also efficient. There was sufficient crockery and cutlery for 6 pax. There were quite a number of useful appliances, including a rice cooker and toaster.

It is not something that can be changed, but we had expected ensuite bathrooms for all the three bedrooms - there were 3 bathrooms but only one was ensuite. One of the bathrooms didn't hv bathing facilities as it had only a toilet and basin. In addition, it would been nice to hv pots and pans that are big enough to cook for 6 pax as it was a service apartment to accommodate 6 persons.

Friendly staff that spoke some english. Clean room, well-equipped. Convenient central location, clean swimming pool area with a sauna in the dressing rooms. Well-equipped gym and yoga room. Spacious room. "Robot delivery" to bring the food that one had ordered. The breakfast had overall good quality and variety, only could have more vegetarian warm food options. We are very happy with our choice of staying there.

This was not a big problem for us, but: from our "living room" we could easily hear the discussion and laughter next door. Our bedroom either was luckily more soundproof or we didn't happen to have partying neighbours on that side. Not too much of a problem, but it was weird to hear the discussion of neighbours in our room very clearly.

The location is excellent — just a 10-minute walk from Chunxi Road and close to shops, restaurants, and attractions. The hotel is very modern, and our apartment was spacious, clean, and had a great view of the city skyline. Check-in was fast and smooth, the gym was well equipped, and we really appreciated the nice swimming pool.

Breakfast, while nice in terms of quality, was let down by the service. Staff were often inattentive, buffet items weren’t refilled even with an hour left, machines were turned off early, and basics like cups, glasses, milk, and juice ran out frequently. We spent more time asking staff to restock items than actually enjoying the meal. Overall, a great place to stay with excellent facilities — just hope the breakfast experience improves.

The staff at this hotel were excellent. On arrival, we were upgraded for free to a one bedroomed suite. They also settled a matter regarding breakfast as we were informed it was included, but for some reason, it hadn't come through on the booking.com confirmation. The room was extremely comfortable with good amenities. We never used the gym or swimming pool as we ran out of time. However, we went to look around, and the pool area looked lovely and the gym well equipped. As for location, it was perfect for sightseeing downtown, and the mall attached was very convenient.

If I was being very nit-picky, I would say a drying rack for the rooms that have washing machines. Also, the breakfast menu pancakes came with only one pancake, the waffles too.
