I'm satisfied with everything at this hotel since it has outstanding quality and exceeds my expectations. My booking has full services such as including breakfast, free laundry, luggage storage, free early check-in, and also late check-out etc... These were truly helpful and made our trip go smoothly. Not only that, the room we booked is also very clean and quiet - I can say that it has a very good soundproof and we had a good sleep here. The was no refrigerator in the room but we didn't so need it since we traveling on very cold days. Staffs are friendly and always try to help. There is also a bicycle rental and convenience store in front of the hotel.

The location seems a bit far from other places that we planned to go, but there are bicycles for rent (at a reasonable price) so we used them to travel from one place to another. This experience is also ok for me :)) However, the location of this property is not right on Google Maps, the hotel should fix this to avoid confusion/guests getting lost. For other guests, If you need to find the correct location of this property, please use the location stated on Booking.com's map or download a China map app and use, which is 高德导航.

HOTEL : The hotel was clean , free snacks at the reception and they even give us free cute panda gifts upon check in. LOCATION : Well located, walking distance to the Taikoo li and Chunxi Road, lots ot shops around. STAFFS : The staffs were friendly and tried to help as much as they could . Especially the receptionist lady. Not all the staffs speak English though. ROOM : The standard king room with extra floor was perfect for one couple. Japanese style toilet, hot water in the shower , daily room cleaning Room had all the required amneties : toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo , hair conditionner, shower gel , hair dryer , bottle of water, tea & coffee etc. BED & PILLOW : One of the most comfortable bed and pillows we had. We slept like babies. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Holiday Inn and we will choose again if we ever pass by Chengdu.

BREAKFAST : We were not impressed with the breakfast though. The breakfast started as from 6:30am. We had our breakfast before 7am and the food were cold already. Food were mostly Chinese style. The cutleries were not clean as well.

The location is within walking distance to People’s Park and Tianfu Square. The Metro Line 2 is underground along with a lively shopping area and food court great for people watching! The staff are friendly and helpful. Most of them speak little to no English apart from Jackie who understands well and is available to answer questions. Jackie showed me the very small local restaurant next door to the hotel and ordered a noodles dish for me! My room was clean, spacious, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast area is large enough to accommodate a lot of guests at individual tables and the food items are plentiful and tasty.

Lots of space, good amenities and clean

When using Google maps the address was registered elsewhere. Although this is not directly the fault of the hotel, the link was found via the booking email. If you need to use a map to find the hotel then use Apple Maps.

The hotel is extremely comfortable and clean, the room was perfect and the bed was comfy. The staff all spoke English very well and helped me out whenever I needed it. Free laundry room is also a big plus. The location is very convenient, close to the beautiful Renmin park, Tianfu square and Kuan and Zhan alley as well as the metro stations. Would definitely recommend if staying in Chengdu!

Breakfast was okay, but the hotel needs a new and better coffee machine!

The location is central to some major attractions. Instead of taking taxi, we preferred walking, stopping at every souvenir shop along the way. We have walked to Kuanzhai Alley, Jinli Ancient Street, Tainfu Square, People's Park, on separate days, of course. Apple Maps worked really well in navigation. The buffet breakfast was really good. It has a great variety of western and local food. There is a coffee machine that makes good cappuccino. When I had too much coffee, I opt for the machine next to it which gave me a great cup of red date soya. I really enjoyed it. The staff are especially nice and they speak English too. They helped us booked a driver to take us to see the Leshan Giant Buddha.

Location pin-pointing on DiDi is a bit of a challenge. Not really the hotel's issue. The DiDi app is very bad. I had to get the hotel staff to help me book DiDi.

The hotel is centrally located and only a short walk from many of Chengdu's famous downtown parks and sites. The room was incredibly comfortable and staff provided fresh bottles of water and a small fruit tray when they cleaned the room. The breakfast was also very nice, with Western and Chinese offerings. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, and many could speak English.

There isn't a metro stop right by the hotel, so it requires a little walking to and from unless you have a driver take you there. Also, the location of the hotel is different from the map on Booking. My friends and I had to open a map app with the address to find where it really was.

Finally an English speaking front desk and I got the International hotel feeling. A very central location close to the Peoples park and Tianfu square. Good soundproofing, comfortable bathroom and shower, but the sewage odour is present also in this hotel. Nice bed - gave me a good sleep. But, NO fridge - it should really have it to make it perfect. EXCELLENT breakfast and good coffee (but suspect "sustainable" meat / bacon, and many of us don't want artificial meat). WiFi falls out often so I had to use a lot of private mobile data :(

I had a fantastic stay at the Holiday Inn Express Tianfu Square in Chengdu recently, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice. The location is unbeatable—perfect for exploring the city—and the facilities were modern and top-notch. Everything was impeccably clean, and the rooms offered just the right balance of comfort and convenience, making it easy to relax after a busy day. The staff were exceptional—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help, which made the experience even better. What impressed me most was the incredible value for money. For the level of quality and service provided, it far exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Chengdu, and I can’t wait to return!
