The hotel location is ideal. It is within Paradise Walk, an expansive shopping mall area (if you like shopping) and a short 5 minute walk to the Metro Shiyoulu Station Line 1 Exit 2B, making it very convenient to get around Chongqing. The staff do not speak English but to get around this they use a translator app (and so should you) making communication easy. The staff are kind and helpful in answering questions, the Housekeepers friendly and approachable providing whatever I may have needed. Breakfast is excellent with various choices. My room was spacious and comfortable. I enjoyed staying at the Bloom Hotel very much!

The Bloom Hotel does not provide explicit directions on how to reach them. If you arrive by train at Chongqing West Railway Station, take the Metro Line 5 to Shiqiaopu station, transfer to Line 1 and disembark at Shiyoulu station, Exit 2B. You will be on Daping Zhengjie street. Walk straight until you come to Paradise Walk. In front of you will be Huawei (mobile store). Go to the left of Huawei and take the narrow street straight to the Bloom Hotel (there is a convenience store right next to it). The Hotel is on the 15th Floor. See attached photos.

The rooms are great, spacious and clean. It is on the 15th floor so the view is nice. We really enjoyed the breakfast because it was convenient to have breakfast before going out (at the time of writing, breakfast is 7:30-10am). Even though the staff didn't really speak English, they were always very helpful and kind. I even easily extended one of my rooms by 1 night so we could rest and shower before heading to a midnight flight home. I would definitely stay here if/when visiting Chongqing again!

It was initially difficult to find and our taxi driver from the airport dropped us off at the wrong building and we had to look around for 15 minutes to find building 4. On the Didi app, typing "Bloom Boutique Hotel" seems to work. If you are on roaming and using Google maps, the closest landmark to the building is Qingyue Hotel (not Baobo hotel, that is nearby but it points to the wrong building, you will have to walk around clockwise to the back side). If you are using Didi to get picked up, "Longhu Times Sky Building 4 Northeast Gate" seems to work well as a pick up location (and probably also drop-off location, but as I said, "Bloom Boutique Hotel" works when searched on Didi)

1) Location is good with big shopping centers in the vicinity. 2) Breakfast provided has satisfied my simple needs for just toast breads, eggs, yogurts, coffee and fruits. 3) I was particularly impressed free laundry service was provided for me and was ready the following day - shirts, trousers, pyjamas and shorts (socks and underwear not included).

It is on the 15th floor of an office building. And when you take the elevator, you get to meet office workers and food deliveries for the other floors. But once when you are in your room, there is no difference from a hotel room! And the room of the boutique hotel is much bigger than most rooms of hotels! And it is extremely comfortable.

Staff was super accommodating, location was good and close to metros and a huge shopping mall. Loved the breakfast, always fresh fruit and the classic spicy noodles from Chongqing available! The room was spacious

Soundproofing was the worse I’ve seen in a hotel so far, unfortunately! We used the earplugs that the hotel gave us but on the occasion that my boyfriend’s earplug slipped out in the middle of the night, he could hear loud and clear a group of people play mahjong up until 4am… Also, the bathroom lighting could be better, it was a little dim, and the hotel is only just one level in a building, which was annoying as lifts were slow because so many people were using them.

It was easy to find, very clean and the staff was super available. They even cleaned the room based on how I used it (I have a very disrupted sleep schedule so it happens that I leave the room at afternoon rather than in the first light of the morning). The view of my room was awesome with all the city skyscrapers and lights of the mall lighting up the scenery at night.

The only thing that wasn’t very pleasant was the beeping noise of the building and the traffic on the elevators but that was expected since the hotel is on a busy commercial complex with different businesses and offices so it’s not the hotel’s fault

The hotel was a nice hotel, albeit on the 15th floor of a building next to the huge Paradise Walk mall. It wasn't made clear where the hotel was so we had some difficulty finding it. Room was quite spacious and quiet and all the amenities listed on booking were accurately described. Staff, with help from Microsoft translate, was responsive and breakfast was a good selection every morning. Being located by the mall, there was an inexhaustible number of restaurants from which to choose.

I probably didn't look too closely at the map or mis-judged distances but this hotel is really not located anywhere close to major tourist attractions; in fact, it isn't even in the same neighborhood or district. On the other hand, there is excellent (and cheap) metro access and taxis aren't too expensive.

The room was big, the bathroom nice, the doors are very loud tho while closing of squeaking, there could be some improvement, in the morning I woke up by slamming doors. The cleaning was very good, my compliments for the people who do that. Every time new towels, although I don't mind using them for two days. The reception was so nice to translate by app. The reception is on the 15th floor.

Breakfast was very summier and hardly any variation in days. One small pack of butter and 1 cup of marmelade or peanut butter. Not much variation for western guests, like me, because every morning I saw foreigners, so could be bit more diversity. Also one type of coffee. On the other hand there won't be much waste, which is good for the environment. And I booked for more days but the hotel asked twice as much as the app did. Also the name Bloom Boutique is not to find on western maps on the phone.

Location and cleanliness of place!

Clean and big rooms with comfortable beds. Staff are very friendly, kind and helpful. Breakfast includes freshly cooked noodles and dumplings requested on site. Just downstairs there is a very big mall with 4 towers comprises of different shopping themes.

Around 15-20mins taxi/didi ride to main tourist sites like Hongyadong, Jiefangbei, etc. Thankfully taxi/didi rides are very cheap and affordable. Nevertheless, would come here again for the value for money accomodation.

Close to the metro station. Very quiet, water and beers inside the fridge all you can drink for free, excellent staff which listens to your (special) requests, free laundry service except for underwear and socks.

If you can’t speak Chinese, it is maybe a bit difficult to find the hotel entrance as it is located on the 15th floor / it’s hidden and can’t be spotted from the outside as the building doesn’t look like a hotel at all.
