Modern and young hotel with relaxed vibes. Great deal. Large room with seating corner great for layout luggages or relax on couch. Well equipped with kettle, tea, coffee and Chinese tea set, toiletries, clean towels. Comfy bed and pillows. Floor heating room with openable window if room goes too warm. Buffet breakfast was good for low price. Overall had a very pleasant stay :)

First room that was allocated to us had a strong cigarette smoke smell when we checked in, even though it was a non-smoking room. After informing the front desk, they offered to spray some air freshener, which we didn’t accept. Allocated us another room, which we accepted. Although the second room did not have cigarette smoke smell, the toilet had a sewage smell that was persistent.

I booked 5 nites with Atour Harbin Museum with 2 bookings. I arrived around 9pm, I gave them my both confirmation bookings with Booking.com that booked a couple of months ahead. They insisted that they couldn't find my reservation and blamed Booking.com never confirmed with them. It is high season in Harbin now with the ice festival. They wanted the two rooms for more money and declined my booking. I was totally in shock as it was almost 10pm at nite and it was so difficult to get another hotel with a decent price. So we ended up with a far away hotel. Luckily our driver was willing to wait for us. They said they were totally sold out so I cancelled my booking the next day they claimed it was never confirmed. The hotel put it back on the market for triple the price. Do not book with Atour Harbin Museum hotel, very unethical business practice. It has never happened with me before as I m a VIP Genis member with Booking.com. They got back to me later said I was confirmed for the rooms but the hotel was a fault bumped me for higher price booking.

Very sleazy workers and mean demeaner. They just kept blaming Booking.com
