We stayed at Fairfield by Marriott 4 days and had a perfect stay. Beds were big enough to fit us all, the room was not so big but spotless and no smell of any sort. Very satisfied with Beds and bedding. It was very warm in the room so we had to sleep with a window open, but apart from that, we were very comfortable. The breakfast has a small selection of western bread and desserts, the chinese offer is richer and satisfied us. The staff is outstanding, particularly the staff member at the concierge speaking fluent english and offering recommendations about the tourist spots and how to purchase tickets/where and what to eat local! We appreciated his professionalism. The location is great, about 8 minutes walk ti St Sophia and the pedestrian central street. Lots of restaurants in the area. We would absolutely stay again!

Very spacious room, clean and well organized. Breakfast is good, mostly Asian food but there is also some western food. The staff is really friendly. It’s 10min walk to the train station and a bit longer to the pedestrian street. Around the hotel not much to do. The room temperature was not very high (outside it was -24C at night), c for us that was no problem, but there was a small extra heater, if needed (we did not). The price/quality ratio was so so, but that has to do with the fact that our stay was during the snow and ice winter festival. Prices go up in that period. We will stay here again during a next trip.

Great location, very close to Zhingyang Ave and the city centre. Easy access to Sun Island and Ice & Snow Sculpture show. Staff are nice and helpful.

The laundry wasn’t easy to use. You have to download an App first then scan the QR code to be able to use the washing machine &drier. However for some unknown reason the QR code didn’t work on my phone so each time when I needed I had to call the receptionist who then sent a staff up there to scan the code on her phone for me so that I can use both machines. I feel very sorry for her. Appreciate her help.

The breakfast is excellent!! It virtually serve like a buffet brunch... we really had a hearty meal every morning. As for the location is a little far away from the busy shopping centre. Each time we hired a taxi they had difficulty locating the hotel location even it was stated in the hotel card as we came to understand from the front desk it was out dated. Not forgetting to praise Ms Gina, the front desk staff who went to the extend to make our stay memorable.

Please up date your hotel address, GPS, etc which had been out dated long time ago which made it very difficult to locate your hotel.

Location is great. 3mins walk to subway and about 8-10mins walk to the famous street in Harbin downtown. Staffs are helpful. Can’t be more thankful for the complimentary self service laundry service. Best damn thing ever! And the breakfast spread are so so good!

Housekeeping can be better. Two days in a row not washing the used cups. Toilet didn’t really clean properly. Hairs are still all over the floor. But overall responding promptly when we raised our concerns.

The hotel is quite near to the Harbin Train Station, so if you need to catch a train from this station, then it is very convenient to stay in this hotel. We can also walk to the ZhongYang Street. There is a subway station nearby so it is convenient for us to take subway to the Sun Island. The breakfast is delicious too.

The hotel room can be quite warm due to the heater. We called the reception to inform that the room was warm, and they immediately instructed the robot to send us a fan which helped to cool the room.

(1) There is a MRT station, Shangzhi street station, just 500m away from the hotel, make it really easy to every where. (2) The reception are help full, especially Mr. Tom Liu. (3) No convenient store around, but if you walk a bit there are still some you can find. (4) Some street BBQ hawkers beside Shangzhi street MRT station, taste very nice. They only open after 8pm. (5) If you travel as free and easy, there is a travel desk can help you to travel around Harbin, snow village with a price on it. Mind you, it is not so cheap also.

(1) No good restaurant around us, especially Cantonese style restaurant. (2) Bed is a bit small to sleep 2 people, but still ok. (3) The first night when we checked in, ask for direction, the reception did not show very friendly and just tell us to go outside and walk for 20 mins to Zhongyang street until Mr. Tom Liu came up tell us about the short distance MRT station. BEWARE: If you don't have Alipay or Wechat payment, please prepare a lot of cash.

It was conveniently located & walking distance to Zhongyang Jie although it was not a short walk especially in the middle of winter but it’s still close enough to walk. Breakfast was ok. Has a robot that delivers your online purchases to the room - cute.

The staff’s attitude at the front desk needs to be improved. They are not very proficient in English & wasn’t very helpful. In fact, the manager didn’t even know they had a tour desk at the lobby that could get us tickets to the Ice & Snow Festival. When we found out & asked him, he said he wasn’t aware?? The lady at the tour desk is there every day.

Property was clean and functional, well located for our purposes, used Harbin Central and West train stations and the airport, all within a manageable time radius and close enough to Ice City for a quick visit

No meal options other than breakfast, and didn’t feel like venturing out to find a meal. BUT … on that note, fabulous staff at the front desk helped to order in from outside. Really above and beyond service.

The hotel location is strategic. Room is clean & comfortable. The greatest thing they have here is a robot that can deliver all your online purchases including food up to your room. Basically, u just need to place your order online & the delivery person will leave it with the robot downstairs. The robot will then deliver to your room by calling you on the phone to tell you it is at the door. We had fun using this service. At the same time, would like to give commendation to Dragon Tan, the manager who served us well & was very helpful.

The room was quite small. Suitable for 1 person but for 2 is a bit tight especially if you have huge suitcases. The breakfast was ok but selection was limited.
