The breakfast is acceptable good value, The room is clean.

The two waitresses who serving the breakfast. Both of them are rude. We were asked to leave the table as they said other group is coming soon. I have not even finished my coffee and they told us to leave. I dont think this is acceptable as a guest I have paid for the facilities and I expect them to deliver the service. I'm rather disappointed with their behavior.

I had a great stay at Cendre Hotel. The room I had was very comfortable and very clean. Had everything I needed. The staff were very helpful with many suggestions for my stay in Suzhou. The hotel has co-living spaces and work spaces throughout the hotel both indoor and outdoors. It has a nice outdoor garden area to relax in. Laundry facilities were also available. This is great for digital nomads and longer stays. The breakfast was very good, lots of choices and everything was delicious. You can walk about 10-15 mins to bus stop, subway stop, Tiger Hill and the top of Shantang Old Street. 10mins away is a convenient store. Maybe 15-20 min walk is Lingering Garden. Highly recommend.

Absolutely loved my stay here! 🌟 The property is beautiful, super clean, & really well maintained. It’s in a great location—right next to a premium residential area, which makes for peaceful, safe night walks with lovely walkways. There’s even a grassy walking area within the hotel complex itself, which adds such a nice touch. The staff were fantastic—super polite and easy to communicate with in English, which made everything smooth and welcoming. Special shoutout to Mr. Mae, who was extremely helpful, very cooperative, and had a great command of English—he was quick to solve any issues we had. Mr. Nick was incredibly warm and caring, who went out of his way when we were struggling to return to hotel. And Mr. Han was a lifesaver—he helped us book cabs and even arranged bullet train tickets when we were struggling with the language barrier. There are many more names I could mention, which just shows how well-trained & genuinely helpful the entire staff is. 👏 I stayed in one of the designer rooms—no smell of smoke, just fresh, clean air and spotless corridor carpets. The bed was incredibly comfy, and the sheets and pillow covers were crisp, white, and super clean. And the pillows? So soft I genuinely considered smuggling one into my suitcase—kidding! (…sort of 😄) Air conditioning worked perfectly, which was a relief after long days out. And speaking of relaxing—if you book a premium room, the bathtub is amazing. After a hard day’s work, soaking in that tub was exactly what I needed. Laundry facilities were in-house — super convenient and well set up. There’s a grocery store and a pharmacy just nearby, which came in handy, and one of the city’s famous barbecue spots is right around the corner—don’t miss it! Connectivity is great too. There’s a shuttle to Huqiu Bridal City for just 1 RMB, and the bus stop is really close to the hotel. All in all, if you’re looking for a clean, budget-friendly hotel that’s totally worth the money, this place is truly a hidden...

Breakfast was good, mostly oriental with rice, noodles, and local dishes. While fresh and filling, it could be improved by adding more continental options.

This hotel’s hospitality is on another level and I was surprised. The room and hotel were clean and has beautiful modern design. You have access to free gym and laundry. Breakfast was delicious. The staffs were extremely friendly and helpful. The location is close to many great attractions. Walking from closet Huqiu station can take around 15mins so the closest station is far but there are some bus stops very close to hotel. Mr May was extremely helpful during my stay. He even took me to the bus stop and waited together to make sure I get on right bus to go to Suzhou railway station on my last day of stay. I was very lucky because my stay coincide with hotel’s free culture explore tour. It was a walking tour from Hotel to Xiyuan temple, Lingering garden, Shantang street and Ximinqiao market. The hotel staff even helped to get lunch ( famous vegetarian noodle & vegetarian bun at Xiyuan temple) and Suzhou’s famous snacks & drinks in Ximinqiao market. The hotel also gave free sourvenir (a hand-drawn bookmark from a famous artist) in Shantang street. I was able to understand more about Suzhou’s culture and history after the tour. All of the activities were free. It seems that the hotel also will prepare tours for other routes in the future too. I would definitely stay in this hotel again next time I come back to Suzhou and join another tour. Tip: if it’s a walking tour, make sure you have sunblock, bringing hat or umbrella since it can be quite sunny outside.

Some of the dishes to pick up food in the breakfast area were not cleaned carefully and had a little bit of stain.

This is a great hotel with a beautiful room and mine had a bath. Enjoyed it very much.

That they could smoke in the breakfast and dining area. I am allergic to smoke and had to ask the people to stop. Smoking in an area where food is consumed should be forbidden. I find smoking in a hotel should be prohibited always.

The staff were excellent even though they had limited English. Our luggage was delayed for 4 days and they tried so hard for us to get it back. they called for a taxi everyday and walked us out to the taxi. The room was large enough and comfortable with a decent bathroom. The room was also serviced everyday. There was a free laundry with a dryer that came very useful. The included breakfast was good and varied over the days we were there.

The breakfast was good, but in the evening the restaurant lacked atmosphere and sometimes we were the only diners. The food was okay. There is a good restaurant next door though. The location was okay, but you do need a taxi to get arounf. Lucky they are very cheap.

We loved our stay at Cendre hotel. The room was spacious, clean, and well appointed. Housekeeping did a great job. Facility was great, including a gym and convenient laundry room. There are peaceful outdoor spaces to sit and relax. The location was convenient by taxi to many sightseeing spots. The staff was very kind and helpful. Mr. May recommended Xiaohuanxi restaurant to us and we liked the food so much, we went for dinner there twice. Thank you very much!

The chairs and tables in the dining room could have been a bit cleaner.

I loved the ladies that helped us at the reception. They were more helpful then what we could imagine and even asked for (calling taxi's for us, communicating with other people in Chinese, guiding us, letting us know what to visit in the area, being patient etc) and were more then just friendly. Apart from this special thanks to the staff, the rooms were mesmerizing and one of the best I have ever had. They were really spacious, modern, and had more than what you expected in these modern times. There was a huge table with a couple of chairs, a sofa, a big closet, a refrigerator, a huge and comfortable bed, and then apart from that you an excellent fancy bathroom with a walk-in shower, a lovely sink with beautiful lighting, and even a stand-alone bath tub. When you entered your room there was a small digital radio playing to welcome you with traditional music. It was like an oase opening up to you as soon as you opened the door and it felt like you entered your own private appartment. Simply a magnificent stay here with all those friendly people combined with a cosy atmosphere. Also, breakfast was nice with a good selection.

Absolutely nothing.

Location to places of interest is near. The area is nice and they also have a restaurant at the lobby which ease transportation if you doesn't want to go out especially on the arrival day. The laundry facilities is also very convenient for tourist especially those stayed for a longer period need not bring too much clothes in their luggage. The price offered is really reasonable with what they are offering to be frank.

Frankly I can't really comment much what i don't like about this hotel. Perhaps for those who wants to go to a little more city centre like or more touristy place for food and happening place, they have to take taxi and venture a little farther but to be honest is extremely convenient to get taxi too.

The hotel was very clean, stylish, and is complete with everything we need. We had a very comfortable stay in there and it really felt like home. I would like to also like to commend the staff. Even though language was a little tough (we can only speak English), it never stopped them to find way to communicate (translator) and they were still very helpful. They provided recommendations, asked and helped us with all our questions and they were very polite and courteous.

Maybe just the the location. You need to walk couple of minutes to find more food options. Though, there are some restaurants and a grocery at the back of the hotel. Otherwise, everything is awesome!
