The staffs are helpful friendly and always offer help when requested. They are well trained with highly etiquette. Few worth mentioning occasions are a concierge staff offer to drive me near to the lake where I wanted to go baggie and show me the hotel surrounding. Gardening staff politely wait for guests to walk past them before carry on their jobs. Staff try their best to extend for me a late check out where by flight is at mid-night. A management staff offer to bring me to the correct lobby lift and more. Overall a very pleasant experience. Thank you and will come again as along as you maintain your high standard service and pricing.

Overall my recent stay at Intercontinental Kuming is with absolute satisfactory. Especially I was very happy for the assistance by the Concierge te4am. Mr Smulin was very helpful to me such as buying new air tickets to other city of China and further amendments as well as arrangement for my airport transfer. He was always very active with quick responses, willing to help and did his best. If I was asked, I would give him and his concierge team at Intercontinental Kuming the full score 10 out of 10. My stay at the Intercontinental Hotel in Kunming was absolutely exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism by the attentive staff. The hotel's elegant and modern design immediately impressed me, setting the tone for a luxurious experience. The room was spacious, beautifully appointed, and offered stunning views of the city. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The hotel's dining options were outstanding. I indulged in delicious meals at the on-site restaurants. The attentive service and elegant ambiance made each dining experience truly memorable. Overall, my stay at the Intercontinental Hotel in Kunming exceeded all expectations. Very nice location. Very clean. Staff was very nice, except at the pool. But all other people were very lovely. The pool was really large. The hotel is really huge and impressive. Food was excellent.

One staff at the pool did shout at us, because I did take my small daughter in the male locker. But she was too small to be alone in the female locker. A single comment would be enough. No need to shout. The room was smaller (65 sqm) than in the booking.com website (80 sqm) stated. But they did give us extras as compensation for the smaller room what was in the end acceptable.

Huge selection but lacking in taste. Price does not match the food served. We thought we would have tasty food but were disappointed.

Staff could have been better. Staff at the Japanese section of the buffet was great but not the staff at breakfast behind the counters, they need more training in terms of service. Staff on the floor were attentive.

Everything is expected of InterContinental, but one exceptional is the staff that is over expectation. Mr. Smulin Li, the hotel concierge is extremely helpful with everything. Made our stay much smoother.

The hallway which is the carpet might be a bit dusty. My father who has allergy sneezes a lot.

I knew it wasn’t near the centre of Kunming. It is like an oasis so if you want to kick back and stay on sight it’s perfect if you want to get a buzz of real Kunming stay in the centre. We did both

Hotel room is spacious & clean, quiet .Friendly & helpful staff.

We had buffet dinner at the hotel, some of the dishes were emptied at 715 pm and was not replenished, reason given was there was a 100 day baby shower held at the restaurant. The barbecue chicken were not cooked thoroughly .

The pool and spa are nice. The breakfast buffet was excellent! The room is beautifully designed. But the see-through bathroom made it challenging for the roommates to keep privacy.

The facility is huge and we got lost when trying to check in. It's nice to have live music in the evening but people smoked there. This made the experience unpleasant.

Spacious, stylish rooms. Amazing breakfast buffet with yummy Chinese delights, location close to the lake, lounge bar with views on greenery. Special kudos to Head Concierge, Mr Smulin, and team for assisting us with all transportation matters, airport pick up, etc: outstanding!
