We had a wonderful 10-day stay at Holiday Inn Express Zhenping Road. The check-in process was smooth, and after a long international flight, we were grateful that the hotel staff kindly allowed us to check in early. The location is extremely convenient — just a short walk to Zhenping Road Metro Station, which connects easily to Jing’an Temple and other major lines, making it simple to reach all of Shanghai’s top attractions. The hotel staff were very accommodating and helpful throughout our stay. They even facilitated a room change for us when we needed it. A special thank you to the lovely cleaning lady who found and returned my niece’s forgotten phone during checkout — we were truly touched by her honesty and kindness. The breakfast buffet exceeded our expectations, offering a great selection of delicious Chinese breakfast options. Despite staying for 10 days, we never got tired of the variety and quality of food provided. Overall, the hotel offered great value for money. Thank you to all the hotel staff for your excellent service and hospitality!

The only thing we missed was a mini fridge in the room, which would have added extra convenience. Still, we were extremely satisfied with our stay and would highly recommend this hotel to other travelers.

It was a great stay! Large, clean room with very comfortable beds. There was also a lot of variety for breakfast in the morning. We arrived a little early and the staff was kind enough to allow us to check in early as they already had a room cleaned. The hotel is also just a short walk away from the closest subway station. There was also a convenience store right across the street as well.

Room view is fantastic Nice coffee in the reception 3 Metro stations 200m away The hotel is a little far from down town, but metro is close. Many halal food around Many many convenient stores. 3 bakery stores in the metro station A Chinese bank about 100m away you can change money.

The room is clean and quiet and is located very close to a metro stop so it was easy to get anywhere. The breakfast was excellent! A great selection of Chinese dishes, fruit, and various "western" options. I always looked forward to seeing which dishes would be available each morning.

While there is free laundry, the dryers take much longer than you would expect to dry clothes.

The room was very comfortable and breakfast was good. Staff was also very nice, helpful and friendly.

Maybe the location was a bit far from places we would want to go to during the day. Otherwise I don't see much more negative points. We truly has a pleasant stay.

Location is excellent as near to main road, metro and bund.

I asked for big bowl & spoon which are not provided. Even I asked again - the answer was all are busy so it will take time, better you come down and take. This is the first time I have received this type of response from hotel industry.

I had a great experience at this hotel. The service was consistently good, and the front desk team was both efficient and friendly. Their WeChat support was particularly impressive—they resolved all my inquiries quickly and thoroughly

The hotel is located in an old district. It is very close to the subway station. The staffs are very kind. There are two washing machines and drying machines (but they don't work very well) at 9th floor. The hotel is quite old but the room is still very clean.

The quality of the slippers and tooth brush is not very good. Since the hotel is just by the main road, so it is a bit noisy for those who needs a very quiet room to sleep.

I want a quiet place without any noise. The room they gave me is very suitable
