Everything about this hotel was fantastic. They communicated well beforehand which I appreciated. The location is fantastic, just a 10 minute walk from Yanchang Road (L1) which connects to multiple city centre locations. The bus outside also goes to East Nanjing Road within 30 minutes. The room was comfortable, spacious and light with great AC/heating, fast Wifi, great shower, hi-tech Japanese style toilet and with daily towel changes. The bed was super comfortable and I slept well each night. There is a lift and (free) laundry facilities, which was really useful for me as I stayed for 2 weeks! Opposite the hotel is a 24h FamilyMart and nearby are many shops/restaurants/pharmacies and a lovely park - Zhabei Park. I rate this hotel 10/10, excellent value for money and will recommend to anyone I know visiting Shanghai and next time I come to Shanghai I won’t hesitate to stay again!

I loved my stay at orient rose. The location was great, it was near to subway, there were a lot of Halal restaurants nearby, the staff was very friendly.

Although the staff did not speak any English they were very willing to help out and always there 24/7. The Room we stayed in was a bit small however it was ideal for just the two of us. Would recommend to have some space for the luggage and more hanger areas. It was a pleasant stay overall, and the Japanese heated bidet toilet seat was the highlight. A 15-20 min walk from the subway station but there are halal food options and a family mart nearby.

I liked the cleanliness and maintenance of the room. Everything felt clean and new, it was comfortable. There is a washer and dryer, it met my needs for a comfortable stay. There is a convenience store just next door. Not open 24 hours though.

I didn't like the public transport in the area. The bus will take too long, it'd take 40 mins to travel to the popular shopping areas. I took Didi every day to save time

It is a very nice hotel. The room is clean & the area is quite quiet at night. there is family mart & other foods around here. the bed is comfortable & gt tea & coffee inside the hotel. they will clean up your room every day. It is a vry pleasant stay.

It is a 10 min walking distance to mrt. It is quite noisy in the morning as there is a morning market. Apart from that, there is nothing to complain at all.

The staff was very kind and welcoming. Even though they didn't speak English at all, they did the best helping us. Rooms are very clean and they change towels every day. Overall very good value for money.

Windows are not soundproof.

The room was very clean The staffs was very kind I really like the views of the trees from the window And there are old citizen markets, fruit shops and delicious steamed bun shops nearby. The tomatoes and strawberries was so goodddddd I had a great memory over there🌴💛🌸🦋

Location is good. Just 3 stops near the People's Square, Shanghai's central shopping area. During nighttime the hotel is quiet and peaceful. Queen size bed is big and comfy.

Nice, low-rise building. There is an elevator and pleasant accessibility from the metro.

Of course, I would have liked the staff to speak English so that I could clarify details about the city, but this was not a problem.

It is very cozy and comfortable hotel. The subway station is not far away and you can find a lot of shops and restaurants nearby. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are well equipped. Highly recommended!
