Beautiful original building and outdoor areas, nice pool, stylish decor and friendly helpful staff (Madonna and her female colleague).

Appeared to be very understaffed, the 2 girls that cleaned the rooms seemed to be doing everything (checking guests in, making the breakfast etc). Pool needed cleaning as there was no staff to do it!

We gave up some laundry, only a few things… thought it would be for free or a small contribution, but it coasted 70.000 pesos! We were shocked by the price 😧

Very nice family room. Room and complex were clean. Beds were comfortable, and the location was okay. Breakfast is a la carte.

They contact you prior to arrival to download an app. I don't like this at all. Breakfast is with QR code, so you'll need a smartphone to see the menu. I'm on holiday and don't like to use my smartphone for this kind of digitalisation...

The location is ideal, as it serves access to the town and all adventure amenities really well.

That I was charged twice. I discovered the double charge and had to work hard to convince the hotel to return my funds. I had to follow up, when funds were allegedly returned. I had to wait almost a whole month for the eventual return of my funds. I WAS CHARGED A USD$5 FEE for the return of MY funds!!! We were also hugely disappointed as we had specifically chosen this hotel as it has a pool, so paid more than other local hotels. Frustratingly, we were only notified of the pool closure AFTER our free-cancellation date, which meant we were stuck in a hotel, with no pool, having paid more to have a pool, that we could not use. Deeply disappointing.

Beautiful hotel in the local architecture style. Swimming pool a nice bonus to relax after a lot of walking. Super convenient location, 5 min walk to the bus station and main square. Friendly staff, ready to answer all your questions.

Selina was really a great place to stay in Villa de Leyva. The staff was super helpful. I could leave my luggage there, because I arrived earlier. The location is great and the accommodation really well designed. I loved the pool area and the room was beautiful!

The place is fantastic, with a nice pool and a large outside area to hang out. The food is delicious and we got to enjoy some live Colombian-style music. Villa de Leyva is truly a must-see village, boasting beautiful old Spanish architecture that adds to its charm.

The staff were excellent. During my stay I tested positive for Covid19, which under Colombian rules required me to self-isolate for a week, I had only booked to stay for a few days and the requirement meant that I had to extend my stay significantly. The manager sprang into action: my room was swapped for another that was more appropriate to isolate in and the pool restaurant was teed up to bring me meals which I would order over WhatsApp. During my isolation staff were always responsive and helpful. When my isolation eneded I chose to stay for several more days. The Selina 'vibe' is one I like and I would stay here again.

In each of my rooms, I struggled to have a hot shower. After running water for a time (as advised by management when I reported the issue), warm water would come, but only briefly. Without this daily frustration, I would have given the hotel a better rating.

Great location next to bars and restaurants! The service and food at Selina's restaurant is wonderful. Natalia, was more than just a massage therapist, She really working with heart, She was just amazing....” The manager and staff was super attentive and friendly!
